i was looking into a new gun (since mine is crying, it is in pieces under my bed) and i was on WGC shop and i came across this

kastway has the same gun but for 100 bucks less and it's stateside but they have more pictures. any feedback about the maufacturer or better versions of this gun are greatly appreciated.

Supposedly this new weapon is suppost to be pretty good. From there previous work (ak's and such), this hk416/417 should be class act. I've seen videos, and it fires pretty dang well with an excellent rof. But I have yet actually to see it in person. I was actually thinking of making this purchase in the short future, but $500 or so is a lot out of my pocket.

I would say that if you have the cash, and are really looking for an excellent AEG that everyone will gawk at, go for it and get it. But if you do, you'll need to show it to me: 'cause I just love what's being said about the AEG and the real steel.

And like everyone has been saying about what type of AEGs someone should get, about that it's there choice on what they like and all; well if it's any consultation: I just love how this gun looks! Bad a**!!

that's the first thing i though when i saw it ( i really like the HK trademarks) when you think about it is not that bad a price since the conversion kit could cost upwards of 600$... where have you seen the videos, i would like to check them out

Ricky. I know you better than anyone hear. Next week you are going to find a more expensive gun that you want. Sooner or later you are going to be at a Systema M4. You are going to realize that it is too much and you are going to buy a CA m15a4 carbine for $300.

i actually found a way so that it actually ends up cheaper than when i wanted the ris. i will definetly stick to this not only becuase this is what i wanted to do with the ris (externally) and the company( vega force company) has Vega in it ( my mom's maiden name for those who don't know)...

i will NEVER EVER buy a systema EVER!!!!!, also i passed the carbine stage a long time ago. i really want this and if i can order it before i want something else i will be just fine.

the total i'm looking at right now is about $650 including gun,battery upgrade, vest, mags, silencer and a bag of bb's. shipping is free of course


anyways i was looking on youtube and i found some videos of a guy sticking the exact same gun in a bucket of water and shooting it flawlessly, this is definetly the gun for me!!!!! (not that i would dunk my gun in a bucket of water)

I know if I don't get an M60 as my next gun, the VFC HK416 is definately at the top of my standby list.

I remember seeing a link where somebody did a torture test on the VFC, like dunking it in water, tossing in some dirt and such, and apparently it would still work. I don't intend to put my guns through that kind of tests, but if it's true, it is definately a plus.

Yeah, those are some of the videos that I saw as well. Then I found one that was like at a store, and some guy was test shooting it. You know, like shooting entire mags on full auto and such. It sounded great when it shot.

I don't remember exactly where I found the vids, but it was on one of the popular video sites, like youtube or something. Don't remember. But if it gives you a clue: I always find these vids when someone posts a link to a different video and then I end up searching for other vids. So you could probably search through the links to videos on this website, and then you could find it that way. You know, if you really, really wanted to see the video and all.

You know what really needs to be made for airsoft? The SCAR-L! The weapon would be sweet!!

Freezer: If you were talking to me right there: I already talked to a person that sells airsoft down in Utah, I asked him if anyone currently makes the SCAR rifles, and he said that no one does. This guy knows a lot, so I'm pretty sure that no one currenlty has one of these out for sale. I may be wrong, but I couldn't come up with anything about this rifle relating it to airsoft and all.

But I would be very interested in knowing more about what you heard and where you heard it from. If there's a chance that I could get this rifle soon, than I'm all ears.

The link was on Arnies, I have since lost my user name and password for that sight so I cannot get back on. However, here is just a photo of it found on MAGs sight. This was old news, back from July, I will reregister on Arnies and see if I can dig anything up on it. Heres the link to the MAG topic on it, its just a picture of that and an Hk416, VFC is supposed to be the one making them to, although I might have read somewhere that STAR was going to put one out to, I don't remember for sure though, so I could be talking out of my ass.

Please tell me how you are going to only spend 650 on that. The gun itself is 505 on pre-order, so first of all you may not even get one, and the possibility of the price rising. And unless you get a P.O.S. vest and a plasti silencer for like 10 bucks and a cheap battery is the only way you are only going to spend 650.

Im going with ASGI as always. They have some VFC stuff but im not sure what. Its just that they have all the mags i want too.

kastway has the same stock as airsoftgi maybe more,but if you want to order from asgi go ahead, i look on asgi for the gun i want but it didn't come with both outer barrels like the on on kastway did but i'll still get you the rod loader, if your dad wants one just call and ask.

Alright, i want the Star mags from ASGI and Kastway doesnt carry 'em.

edit^2: if you were talking about the 20 round why would you spend (waste in my opinion) 50 bucks when you can buy 2 hicaps for the same price, i know you don't like hicaps to much but i'm talking from an economical point of view not a realistic view
