Hey im gregin Georgia highschool guy. started playing like 2 yrs ago
have a nice spring pistol... yeah me and like 6 of my friends play in one of their backyards(uasually 1 to 2 acres) . Put it this way airsoft is great but it wasnt meant for georgia. Way to many freaking houses now. Im probley gonna get a marui shotgun in 1 or 2 weeks, are these shotguns any good?

Hello and welcome to the site... Up here in IL it is mostly wooded areas more suited for M4,M16, G3 and other guns. There are few places for a Shotgun that is meant for CQB. About once a year there is a indoor game, I say go for a CA or TM AEG trust me, you will be lot happyer. But for the most part, yes i have herd good reviews about the TM shotys.

must say you guys are pretty lucky the only place within bout 10 miles that we can play on "decently" is on a pretty steep incline like 35 degrees a bit less i guess. ill check those guns out though.

Well sorry Mustangpwr!, I am simple trying to help this guy and save you guys time form having to type it, I see people on the forms all the time dobble posting and all of you "Plz read Rule 5: No dobble posting" When I first joined the fourms I was told that and I obey and respect that rule. And to Minion... Go with what ever you want, Shotgun or whatever you want.

About 3 weeks ago I sold my "TM MP5A4" and now I saveing up as much as I can to buy a "Star,CA,G&G,G&P or somthing along those brands. SO Yes Mustang I dont own one "NOW" but i have owned a high end AEG in the near past.

Welcome to the forums Minion. I actually envy you in having a field within 10 miles. The nearest public field that doesn't cost one's first born child is at least an hour drive from where I live.

And wickwire, I think the issue is that this is a team forum, not a community forum. So while I'm not gonna say you can't say hi to the new people, the way you do it may be giving people the impression that you're part of HEAT itself (being that this is the HEAT forum). Hope that clears it up.

well Its not much of a field. My friends house is on 4 or 5 acres in a private neighborhood might play there this weekend if it doesent snow or ice ( makes it impossible not to slip on the incline) ill give ya a few pictures of it if i can. Oh ive got the georgia airsoft field ilke 100 miles away form me or something like that.

Ok seeing how this is once again a argument between ME vs Mustangpwr i am going to lay off the HEAT fourms for awhile, Sorry mustangpwr I was simpily trying to help him a bit to get him going on the right foot here. There Argument setteld, over, done, finito.

we appreciate the help no doubt, but you must have missed my post where i said no one post anything about shotguns unless you have owned one or do own one. it wasnt in this topic but a very simiular one posted by minion asking about shotguns. if some one posts something "hi H.E.A.T, this is blah blah blah" say hi back but leave the welcoming to the site ourselves seeing it is our site. and it really isnt a problem or a pain or hassel for H.E.A.T personel to say hi, and we also have many many many veteran players who come to this forum to help him out

One to two acres is still pretty suitable for airsoft. It actually sounds like you have it better down there than we do when it comes to finding places to play. Any land we find is either a forest preserve where it's illegal to play or on private property. Are there a lot of public events down there?

Concerning the argument: Minion, I am going to assume you didn't direct "lol idiots" towards any member of the team since this is our website. I can't blame wikiwire for responding before we did, but owning one gun doesn't really allow you to speak from experience. And Minion, you agreed to follow the rules when you created your account so please follow them (#5 in particular).

This is my only thing i will say to new players..."Hello and welome to the site." If they ask about somthing airsoft related, i will say "no comment or i will say nothing at all."

Im pretty sure everyone wanted you to stop saying "Welcome to the site" because we wanted people on the team to do it. I dont really care that much but I think you have that backwards.

Feel free to greet people on the forums man, just remember, like Yoroiden said, this isnt a community forum, its not like Airsoft Chicago or Midwest Airsoft Group, its a team forum, so usually people introducing themselves to the team or trying to get in contact with a specific member. Feel free to drop in and say hi in a thread, just let a HEAT member do it first. And leave the moderating and enforcing the rules to the moderators, we got a great group of guys doing the job already.

honestly i dont know anymore man. This post is going in a completly oppisite direction. lol. I guess from my last post im tryin to say that georgia has horrible terrain for airsoft, things are now freezing, and i still dont know if my first expensive gun i want to get is a good choice. Today the police have outlawed projectile shoting guns and whatnot in georgia so now we cant shooteach other unless were on private property. My day keeps getting better and beter!!!!!
