I've been looking at An ics Mp5 pdw for a few days now. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get it. I was just wondering if any of you have it and have something to say about it or have any upgrades to suggest.
(this might be in the wrong fourm section thingyso don't yell at me if it is)

The pdw i found has a metal body And has been Internally upgraded By ics and Airsoft elite. It might not be the same as Admin's or axis14's but there's still a chance it is. If any one sees a better gun please tell me. I'm looking for an mp5 or M16/M4 And I've only got about $250.

Evike Said that all their ics guns have"turbo 3000 super torque motor, percision cut rienforced motor pimion gear, Percision cut Reinforced No. 1 (bevel) gear, Steel brushings, Low resistance 16 awg Electric wire and a full metal body and gear box. I'm not sure but this stuff may stop the problems that Admin had. Also what do you think about Echo1's guns? Do you know anyone that has one are they good and durable?

ther is nothing wrong with ics mp5's in my opinion if you want a good starter gun, for the price you can't go wrong especially with the newer version. the problems i had with my gun were my own fault and do not in any way reflect ics. my gun broke because i slipped and smacked it into a wall, before that i didn't have a single problem with it. sureshots mp5 shoot's like the day he got it and i'm sure mine would too if i hadn't treated my gun the way i did.

if you do want a tm i'm selling the metal body for my gun for 100(complete except w/o pins and selector switch assemly).

admin's problems were probably based on the fact that he had an older version of the gun (i'm guessing 2 or three)

I had a version 3 ICS mp5. I think you will really like the ics pdw at first, but you will want longer range if you play enough games outdoors. My advice (as always) is to save up just a little bit more and buy a Classic Army brand gun. The M15A4 Rifle or the AUG A2 are good picks.

again largly in part due to the fact that it was an older version,if you bought your gun after 2006 (when ver 4 was released) there really soudn't be that many problems. but i'd still say get the longer barrel, it's just more effective

Yesterday I got an "Echo 1" M733 as a low-cost back up to my M14. Though it's not really an Echo 1, the manufacturer is Jing Gong, one of the better Chinese companies. Echo 1 just imports 'em from JG and sells the guns stateside with a 30 day warranty on internal parts.

I've only done some plinking in Martyn's basement so far (if you call 2,000 rounds some) with the thing, but it seems to pretty good for the cost. From the reviews I've found, JG is regarded as the TM of China guns. So for the cost I'd say an Echo 1/JG aeg is a decent choice, but do get metal bushings. It's too new to say how long it will hold up, but I'm not expecting it to last as long as a real TM.

If you've never heard of echo 1, just check evike. they're a new brand and evike's got like five different kinds (some are pre-order)

Airsoft GI lists 9, though 2 are customized variants. Pretty much any place that deals with China guns will have Echo 1.

CAs are the only Chinese guns I will probably ever buy. Just me though.

this kinda makes me glad i'm not the only one to realize that CA IS a chinese company. Everyone always say "don't buy chinese guns, they're all garbage" but they don't realize that CA is based in hong kong, which is a chinese state/sovereign. hehe just a little side note.

back on topic... Echo 1 is slowly making a name for itself by raising the quality of the things they put out.
