good news: they sent me a new gun so i got another high cap and peq box which is pretty sweet

bad news: they sent me back the same battery which is part of why i sent it back in the first place!!!!!!!!!

-Plating on new gun breaks
-New battery is wrong for new gun

Me too:

- First airsoft gun breaks four days of owning it
- I wait a long time to get another one back while my friends are playing with their guns
- That new gun breaks in 6 days
- Rinse and repeat
- I spend loads of money trying to fix the gun myself every time it broke
- It was an mp5 so it sucked to begin with
- I bought a lot of accessories that also wasted my money
- That gun broke at my first public airsoft event (ASJ's Op Dragon) during the wee hours of the day
- My M4 S-System is a TM so it doesn't have a metal body
- That gun used a mini battery
- It broke, too, just not as much
- It's hard to sell it because I have to fix it up still
- I was playing with green gas and a lighter and it blew up in my face (just a few singed hairs, no biggie)
- I've taken my share of falls during games
- My desert eagle mag fell out of the gun every game I played at Fox River and I ended up buying about 2 new ones
- My first attempt to order a CA M15A4 was crushed because 21st Century Airsoft isn't a good business

On the positive side, I have gained a ton of knowledge about airsoft gearboxes, I met a bunch of really cool people, I got the opportunity to develop on this website, and I had fun waiting day-after-day for the UPS guy to come since Airsplat never gave me a tracking number.

Oh man. I am hoping I don't have your luck. Here's to hoping. I have yet to get my first "real" airsoft gun. I was looking at either eXtreme Airsoft or Redwolf. I've only heard good things about Redwolf, and I hear good things about Extreme. I guess at this point it all depends on whether or not I want stateside or not.

Is the customs tax figured in to a stateside dealer's price? Or do you still have to pay it separately?

It's figured in - hence the higher prices. The shipping difference is normally in there, too....

back on topic, i took it out for a shoot (i'm aware that's it's cold as hell outside and there are certain risks involved here but it was only like 2 min)
and it shoots great given it was using a 7.2 volt battery i was able to saw a paper plate in half in like 30 shots picture will be uploaded

On topic: Why must people saw paper with their airsoft rifles? It doesn't make sense to me. I could do that with my finger. XD

Does no one have a chronograph though? I'd think it'd be a great thing to go in and buy as a team. I dunno, maybe I'll get one eventually. iirc they're pretty cheap nowadays.

edit: I doubt I'm calling it the right name. The tool that measures the projectile speed.
