Ah, cool. Me and my family travle around greece every year. Ive been littlerly every where. lol. Did you live with family down in greece? Or was it just a LONG vacation?
Well, right now, i have a crosman pulse R74, and a spring pistol. But i looked around after i found out about tm, and found a nice UTG AK-74 Revolutionary AEG Airsoft Rifle Black, and an M4-A1 RIS
Limited Anniversary Edition
ICS. What do u think? Good choices?
Edit: for Lane Atomic; Thanks for the imformation. It helps to get information from the pros.

no it was a move. school, home, friends, everything.
stay away from the crossman crap. save your money and go tm, ca, or ics. trust me. cause if your knock off stuff breaks there will be not parts to replace it.

As if you want to get a pistol get KJW,KWC/KWA, or WE, you can get TM or WA (Western Arms), but TM and WA are expensive and take HFC-134a (Freon)...Which is about 13 bucks a can, but you can any of the 3 listed above KJW KWC/KWA or WE Those are capable of handling green gas and as well as propane, WE you can use Green gas (HFC-22), or Red gas (ET-1600), propane too, Ill say stay away from springers Green gas is cheap only 7 bucks a 1100ML bottle will give you about 50 Mag fills do not overfill a mag their standard time is 3 seconds no more no less, If you get a HI-cap like kWA M93r the charge time is 6 seconds because it has big magazine, If you get any of the Japanese pistol, Tokyo Marui or Western Arms be prepared to spend bucks on Freon...WA guns can handle green gas, but with a upgrade, and as for TM, newer models can but in temperature less than 85F (Unless you want your slide to shatter) Old type of TM guns wont handle green gas, I say DO NOT Ever USE RED GAS On these Pistols Unless you're using WE, it is full metal, Anything else but this, or if the gun isnt upgraded and you use red gas say bye bye to it...NON Upgraded, ABS Plastic and Metal mixed guns will not be able to handle Red Gas if you want to use Red Gas use it with Full Metal pistols only...If you break gun that wont handle the Red Gas, and while its still on warranty you wont get a replacement...Because you're the one who is responsible for which type of gas you use, each dealer say "We Will not be held responsible for damages caused by Red Gas".
I hope you find this informative.

1. I'm not a pro, just consolidating a bunch of information I learned. But thanks for the compliment.
2. Freon and HFC-134a are different chemicals. They have different compositions. The only similarity is they're both used for refridgeration, and even so, Freon isn't used anymore. AFAIK it's illegal to use due to the "greenhouse gasses."

1) Your team is either from Chicago or a suburb of Detroit.

Since you guys are talking about pistols i mite as well chime in. Is there any high-end electric pistols, or does gas pistols own. Also which gun have a good balance of velocity, durability, and range, any suggestions? Any preference to certain gases. Its alright if there personal opinions, all feedback helps

IMHO there's no such thing as a good Electric Blow-Back. TM recently came out with something called an AEP, which functions similarly to an AEG, only uses a battery similar to what you would find in a cell phone, and afaik lower powered. Also, they are non-blowback. AEP stands for Automatic Electric Pistol.

the MP7 is an AEP. that's the only thing that comes to mind for AEP. everything else is EBB

The first TM AEPs (Airsoft Electric Pistol, they are not EBBs) were the Glock 18C and Beretta 93R. Those were the first two true AEPs.

They just came out with a USP .40, but that's getting a bit off topic.

Most of the active members live not far outside of Hoffman, but I do and I think birdman lives there too.
