Hey, my name is Chris, 24, Just recently got into airsoft, and am interested in joining a team to participate in events. I currently do not own any camo (will change in the next few weeks), but i do have safety goggles, etc.

Due to the nature of my job (on call 24/7 as a mechanic), my schedule is almost non-existant, and its mostly up in the air, tenatively i can make just about any game, but if my job calls, i have to bail, with no questions asked.

The following picture is crappy i know, but my good digital camera's batteries are dead, so i'm stuck using my cam-corder.

In addition, I usually go by Rhentin, as is habit, call me something long enough and i'll answer to it.

I just wanted to comment that some of these events are hours away so you probably won't be able to make it back to your job in time if you are called on the day of a game. I'm not really sure how that works though so I figured I would just point it out so you don't think all the games are within the area.

Ah, thats fine, just means the plane gets off the ground in less time. I'll just make sure my boss knows before i go, and that just means i bring tools + id + clothes with me on every game, and i take my own vehicle.

Is there a regular meeting day/time? If so i'll try to be there.

Oh on the note of the mp5, i just bought it, so i only have 1 mag x.x this plus the lack of hfc134, and the lack of camo will all be remedied within the next two weeks or so.

He said he was interested in joining a team. I gave him a link to my teams forums. I hardly see how that's disrespectful. I didn't offer him a spot, I didn't say "HEAT's no good, join my team". I just gave him another option. If you've got a problem with that, feel free to delete these posts and I'll send him any links through PM's. Or I can call him, if you don't want me using the PM system either.

i think PMing would be the best option seeing that this is a private teams forum and not a public one like midwest. admin was not meaning to be a douchebag like you took it. the sarcasm was not needed.

Bird, there was no sarcasm in my post. If admin wants to delete the posts he can.

Let me just say that it's hard to tell what someone's attitude is like over the internet. L33T's post could have been taken sarcastically or not depending on how you read it.

Also, L33T, this is our team's website; it's not a community forum, so if someone comes on our website asking about joining a team, they are most likely talking about ours. I know you weren't saying anything bad about us, but you shouldn't advertise your own team on our website; we see that as being disrespectful. Pretend someone came to your party and before you really had a chance to talk to them, I came along and said "yo, come over to my team's party, we want you on our team first." Even though you didn't say "we want you first," it still sounds like you are trying to recruit him and take him off our website.

Also, I am the admin, but I'm just another member of the team. If somebody else on HEAT wants the post deleted, it will be. I'm just saying that I may be the one who actually does the deleting or banning, but I am not the only one who makes up the decisions.

Rhentin, sorry your post got taken over with the politics of airsoft, but if we don't enforce the rules on our site, it becomes full of crap. You should definitely make it out to a game with us or come to our next Airsoft Night (which we haven't decided on yet) to talk to us in person. There have been a few members on the forums who thought we were assholes online (because we don't like stupid posts and we bitch people out who make them), but they found out that they really liked us in person.

Thanks, it took me a long time to get it where it is now, the only problem now is its heavy as hell, and my sling broke. Eh, its not like i cant get/make another. I will eventually upgrade the gearbox etc, but i'm not too terribly comfortable with my skill level to do that to a expensive rifle.

Once summer comes around, I'd be happy to take a look at the GB (gearbox) for ya. I've done all the work on my gun and quite a few others. You'd be surprised what $100 worth of parts can do for your range, accuracy, and power.

edit: Wait a second. Aren't you a mechanic? Search for some specs of the gearbox and I'm sure it won't be too difficult for someone who has an understanding for how things work.
