Requirements to Play With HEAT
We are always looking for more airsofters to play with. If you and/or your friends want to play a few games with us, fill out the form and be as complete as possible.

1. You must have a pair of goggles/eye protection.
2. You need to arrange for a ride to and from the playing field. We will not pick you up unless you are on the way.
3. No mini-sized weapons or spring pistols allowed. That's not airsoft; that's your local sport store's garbage.


Requirements to Join HEAT
Fill out the form below if you would like to join HEAT and play with us. We are always looking for more players, but they must meet the requirements listed below. Signing up does not guarantee that you will be accepted to join HEAT or that you can even play with us, but it does need to be filled out if you want to join.

1. You must own a full-size Automatic Electric Gun (AEG). Sniper rifles are okay as well.
2. You must be 15 years or older (some exceptions).
3. To be a part of HEAT, you must live within 20 minutes (or 8 miles) from Hoffman Estates. Some of those cities include: Barrington, Palatine, Inverness, and Schaumburg.

* You must play at least 1 game with us before we decide whether or not you can be on HEAT.
* Constantly checking the forums is not a requirement, but is highly recommended so that you can see when and where we are playing.
Requirements to be a HEAT Ally
If you are on another team but still want to play with/against us, fill out this form and in the comment tell us your team name or how many players you have and also that you want to play with/against us. Be specific.

1. A majority of your members must be over 15 years old.
2. All members must have a full-sized AEG or gas blowback pistol. Snipers allowed.
3. You must have your own field to be considered an ally.

age is not an issue with me, 19 going 20.

I live in Chicago...checking where Hoffman Estates is...hmm not even close. You guys are past schumburg.

Guess that leaves joining out of the question.

Although the goggles you mentioned, do they have to be ANSI 78.1 rated? (ballistic or better)

Don't have an AEG yet, gonna be at least summer before I'll have enough to get one. College can be a pain sometimes

Even I play with just my everyday glasses somtimes .. not smart, but when I do its because I can only get shot from the front and not an angle or anything.

Yeah, paintball goggles are fine. a bunch of people use shooting glasses, which are probly better because they dont have the bulk of a mask or goggles. You don't need a mask to play with the CAA, only under 18's need that. They have teams from everywhere around the Chicago area and they have public games quite frequently. I know about the CAA, and have looked into applying into many different teams. But gear, equipment, and friendliness of the teams I pick are crucial. Some teams like Section 8 (St. Louis area) have very strict equipment requirements which is why i asked about ansi rated goggles. A team that plays for fun interests me more than a more military formal team. The only two problems that are posed is where I live and where I am most of the year. Most, if not all the teams, I've looked at are based far from from Chicago. On top of that I'm in Iowa most of the time for college, and only venture back home once every few months. I just want to settle down with a team and call it home.

some people at fremd might not know where HE is. Infact, im not too sure myself. i know ive been in it a bunch of times but i dont have a clue where it starts or ends. i dont know where any of these damned suburbs start or end!! i once lived in rolling meadows, across the street from schaumburg with a palatine mailing address, what the hell is that!?

i doubt its the daemon i know, but its worth asking.
