I've decided that when I have enough free spending money (bills suck) I'd like to get a KSC/KWA CZ75 as my sidearm.

My question: Anyone know of somewhere I can get one stateside that has it in stock? I don't want to have to deal with a customs tax if I don't have to, that's why I'd prefer somewhere in the states.

Also, anyone know of any problems with this gun I should know about before I buy one?

Well, since there doesn't appear to be any real problems with the CZ75, I ordered one today from Airsoft Shotgun in LA ($90, in stock!). Had to use ground shipping though from ordering gas with it. It should get to me before NIAA 4, and I also hope it will fit in my Army issue leather shoulder holster. Also ordered 2 extra mags and some oil. Any GBB tips I should be aware of?

I kinda like that CZ75, it appears to be a M9 - Sig Sauer cross breed of some sort. It has a good look to it.

Supposedly it's used by more governments, militaries, police, and security agencies than ANY other pistol. Colonel Jeff Cooper, an advocate of the 1911A1 and often regarded as the foremost handgun expert, considered the CZ to be the "finest double action auto loader in the world". It's also got a very deserving reputation for accuracy, and some experts consider it to be the closest to perfection in a handgun. As to whether all this is true or not, it's still a cool gun.

They are pretty cool pistols, I just started looking at sidearms, and that was one I was set on, but im a die hard .45 fan, so thats the route ill most likly take.

Well, I guess I can do what I ended up doing with my issued M9 a few years ago, lube the hell out of it and wipe off anything that drips.

That would probably reduce the friction enough to help. You could try it.

Well, now it's not going to be an issue, for a while. I just got an e-mail that Airsoft Shogun has discontiunued the CZ75, so now I have to find somewhere else to get one.

All I will need is gas for it (can't ship it airmail) when it comes in.

Well, it seems the fates don't want me to have a CZ75, as I've learned that the order won't be going through after all. At least I still have my money. Now to find another place with 'em, or just get a different sidearm.
