Good to see that you're interested in airsoft. To be on HEAT all you have to do is come and play a couple games with us and as a team we have a consensus on whether or not you are accepted on the team. To see if you are eligible to be on HEAT check out the Membership section under Signup Forms. Mind you the decision is not based on skill, it's more about if you're a good guy that respects the players and the game. If you have any questions or need suggestions and information about possible guns for yourself, just post a thread on purchases/mods/repairs.

It seems that the only real rule for joining HEAT is that we only want people we would want to hang out with off the field and on the field to join the team, and since it seems like you already know a couple people on the team, you should do fine.

Thanks for the warm reception. I'll be saving money and I'll probably end up buying some version of the M-16, just because I like the feel and look of them. (I borrowed a modified one in the fall, very nice)
