I think it would be cool if you could get it to shoot something like one of those nerf dart/arrow/rocket thingies. Imagine putting that thing on your shoulder and actually getting to see a rocket being fired.

That's exactly whats going to happen to it. I actually just drilled out the flint so now I can use all the safeties and the trigger. I just need to talk to a certain someone about pneumatic launchers and CO2 cartridges. Once I get an actually firing system that runs along with the trigger, then itll be set.


(This is the flint drilled out. The part that is removed is actually housing the components that strike the flint.)




(The hole will allow for the hammer to strike a triggering mechanism inside the tube of the AT4)

That's awesome. I almost didn't believe it was real at first. I wonder if you can convert it into somthing that uses CO2 to launch tennis balls or something like justin had at dragon to shoot at the tank. I think they coated the tennis ball in chalk so we know if it hit the target.

It should be something like a potato launcher.
You should ask justin how they made that one we used. I think it worked well.

It would be cool if Azrael let you use it at one of the upcomming events to shoot something in one of the senarios.

Back to the topic, I got a DVD where they show Marines being taught to use the real M136/AT4, if you want to borrow it. It was in an episode of 'Mail Call'.

I got a potato cannon made out of pvc it has a 3" barrel and is hard to shoot because of the shot size needed, I was going to make a smaller one this summer and use co2 from a paint ball gun tank www.kapowwe.com/Mercha...Aircannons

That guy made one but it looks like a pos because the tank is showing if you get a slim 9 to 12 oz tank it will fit in and they are cheep plus you can refill them. then. You could get a smaller barrel and put it inside the tube and have your tank and ram rod all fit inside. then for ammo you can make shots out of foam board shaved to size so it fires true every time and is soft, and if you want to be truly mean, coat the foam in fiberglass resin and you have something that can really leave a mark. If you need help making it I have made a few before and have a lot of the pvc. My potato gun shot out corn about 150 feet and potatoes so they were just a small splash on the horizon over the lake at out cottage.

Those things are pretty tight on that site. Did you ever research how the triggering mechanism works or how it stores the CO2 in a chamber or whatnot?
