HEAT's Airsoft Game Checklist
This topic is a guide meant to help you decide what to bring to airsoft games. Most of the items are pretty obvious and some are things you'll thank us for when you need it at a game.
Required Items
- AEG and GBB (guns)
- Full-seal eye protection, goggles, or paintball mask
- Magazines, BBs, Gas for pistol, loader/dejammer tools
- Signed waiver if required
- 1 Gallon of water or more / snacks / food
- Barrel blocking device or barrel sock
- Kill Rag to show you are "dead"
- Directions / Ipass / toll change (for drivers)
- Money
- Gun case. Required to transport your weapon and play at some games. Sold at Dicks Sporting Goods for about $20
Very Common Items
- Batteries and a quick charger (bring spare batteries too)
- TacVests and Camouflage
- Bug Spray
- Boots and a pair of shoes for the ride home
- Digital Camera
- TacLight (flashlight)
- Walkie Talkies (Communication = success)
- Hand warmers / hand wipes (for winter games)
- Screwdriver or other small maintenance tools
Less Common Items
- Orange tip until you arrive at field
- Electrical tape (don't use duct tape on your guns. it leaves residue and looks really bad)
- Lube (for those who care about their barrels)
- Anti-Fog solution
- Small mirror for peeking around corners (don't blind fire)
- A pair of civilian clothing to keep cars clean
- First aid kit
These are just some of the items I thought would be important to bring to games. Obviously some of the items may not apply to you and there may be some items not listed that apply only to you. Some items may only apply to certain game hosts. For example, Challenge Park Extreme is one of the only hosts that require a gun case, but it is still a very important item to have. Post here if you have any questions about which rules may apply to which host.
Feel free to suggest other items too.

Dry set of clothes period.
Actually a real world basic first aid kit, for scrapes or cuts. Those with bee/ wasp allergies epi-pens of anti venom, along with letting teammates know of their locations on you. Safe thing for diabetics if you auto inject. (If any of you are suffering from this.)

Knee and/or elbow pads.
Leather gloves (I prefer the kevlar Hellstorm S.O.L.A.G.)
Cleaning rod for jammed bbs or mud in the barrel.

It is usually just a red rag or cloth that you put over your head as soon as you die after calling "hit". The rag shows alive players that you are dead and keeps you from getting hit while you are already dead. If you dont see someone wearing one and their gun or arm is not above their head, feel free to light them up.

Ok, so you can just use any ordinary red cloth then, right?

Yup, I myself don't even use them, I am just very good about calling hit loudly and holding my hands and gun above my head (or just hands if I have a sling on).
