hey guys. wuts up. i just signed up for the team, and i might be joining you on the 30th of july. my name is Tony and ive been playing airsoft for about 3-4 years. but never on a team. so im new to this. i have 3 guns at the moment but will have a 4th one this month. they are: mp5 sd3, super 9, cheap 30$ gun wich works amazingly good, and soon to have a double eagle AK AEG that is compatible with TM parts. =D. and i will try to buy most of the gear by the end of august. i would love to get to know you guys.



oh also i would like to know what you need to bring to these games, as in food water and just other stuff like ammo and stuff like that. i just want to be sure im prepared. and becouse im under 18 how can i get that weiver. i have a TCF bank account and my parents have a US bank account, do they have those things there??? i would like to know as much as possible about these tournaments and about beeing on a team. hopefully you guys will like me. =D

I see you got my email Glad to hear you might be playing with some of us on the 30th at CPX. We have an airsoft checklist that you can take a look at. It has a lot of items that you may or may not have but they are all common things to bring to games.

I know that TCF does notary work but you should call the one closest to you and ask. If they say they don't, ask if there is another TCF branch nearby that does or if they know of any place that does. It's free at TCF as long as you have an account.

The waiver and more information can be found on the CPX topic. It also has a few other useful links. Enjoy, and don't hesitate to ask questions.

hi. so thats ur email. cool. well ill check out that list and see what i got. i know i need to buy a full mask since im under 18. i alreasdy saw the rules. and it looks really fun and very very realistic. but i should be able to get the helmet and be able to play. now for the clothing ima see what i can construct. i got boots and camo pants, but i need a top. i think im just going to wear a green t shirt. well post anything more i should know or u want me to know. thx alot. hopefully ill c ya guys there. hmm i just kinda skimed the check list and i already saw a lil problem. the barrel covers. non of my guns came with them. what do i do. should i just make one out of a bottle like cap or something like that? and a case, well right now i use like a beach bag, or a sports bag, does that work??? and wat do you think about my clothing for right now, the gree t shirt. and stuff.

a sock should work fine i woudl think if you can get a bright colored one, and then wrap it near the base with electical tape to give it more stick, i use a hard gun case thet i got from dicks for 20$ you can get barel condoms there and other stuff like cammo, as long as you look a little military green and cammor or brown adn cammo its not a problem, just you might want long sleaves when it gets colder out

hmm i c. well ima going to go online right now and see what i can find. i got a super 9 wich is like 5 feet long so i need to fond a bag thats 5 feet long ONLY for the super 9. wich kinda sux. the other AEG and my mp5 im going to keep in a sports bag. all my clips and stuff are there.




hmm also what aobut the kill rag. what do i need for that. and when you say sock, do you mean a regular sock you put on ur foot? and just tape it down with electrical tape?



oh and one last think, when you bring all the things you need and stuff do you carry them around with you? or do you leave them in like a camp area??? ill check out that case of guns on dicks. but i need it to be LONG or big. cuz u know the super 9 like i mentions before ( i think ). or should i just take it apart??? i have the screws and stuff. ill be posting pics very sooon. i was this night but i couldnt since i think my mom it was that lost the beterries to the digital camera and we cant find any other ones LOL so ill post some tomoroww after 6 ( afte ri finish work ) and some pics of my outfits and guns, and myself.

my plan:
first work this week off. wich will get me about 120 $. then i have an edition 60 with me at the moment. so im going to order the ak AEG, since i dont have an AEG.

then im going to continue to work, and im going to buy a rail system for my super 9, ( my freind will give me a scope, well his dad will), then get a bipod for my gun. and finally im going to look for a vest, and some top clothing so i can look like you guys. =). hopefully this will all be dont by the 29, as i calcualted it. HOPEFULLY. but anyway plz leave feed back about that mask and about my plan.

the rifle case is big its made to fit a long gun, they make soft cases too but i like the hard case becaue i can put real guns in it too, with mine i can fit an m16 carbine and an mp5 in it so you woudl have no problem, also you can lock it up and keep it secure

the clothing, any army surplus store has cammo the new stuff is liek 30 a pair at most i get all my stuff used, the vest is gogin to cost you more plan on a 50 min. I have a paint ball mask so i dont knwo about the wire glasses, all i know is it wont fog up and thats nice.

so how does this uniform look? compare it as if im going to join the team. wil lthis uniform be good? and then i might get a belt and a couple of puches, but i think the vest is enough. and hopefully i will have this and the AEG by the 29. i know ill have the AEG. im buying it this or next week. thx alot





the rag i figured out, just take so hankercheife or a towell or something thats red. so thats fine. the goggles or mask i will buy, but is it allowed since its wired.

If the goggles are a wire mesh, then no, they are not allowed at public events. I don't think you need the top, just the shirt. To fill you in, they call it a BDU shirt but it's really worn like a jacke; you wear a regular t-shirt under it. That being said, the top is somewhat useless unless it is thick enough for winter use.

The colors do not match any of our team's camo. We don't mind, but most of us wear woodland camo. Check out what we all wear on our Team Roster. Kevin Wood is wearing our most common loadout: Camo shirt, underarmor, camo pants, camo boonie, and a camo tacvest (all camo is woodland). Our sniper and our US soldier are the only two people who will wear different patterns than us.

well that is woodland. well not ONLY woodland, it can be used with anything. since it has almost all of the color combos, and desert too. so its good for all. its also pixels wich makes it a bit more stealthy from what ive heard about them. you guys wont mind if i have those right? and i might be sniper im not sure, i just got my super 9 not too long ago so im still seeing if i like it or not. anyway i guess ill order it if its cool with you guys, just incase i make the team ( YAY ) ,,lol,, and ill play with it. the hat i dunno bout that but ill get one sooner or later, the top with the hoodie is a jacket so for colder tournaments and if im sniper for more steatl, ( cover my head), and the shirt is for regular use. so thats whay i like about that camo, its for everything, and plus i couldnt find any thats cheap enough. this is really cheap and still good so. the mask you say wont do since its wired huh. well i guess ill go look for another one.

The place we bought our gear from is US Cavarly. They have a good selection of BDU's and a variety of patterns and colors. Prices are also very cheap. Keep in mind that if you plan on being a sniper at a public event or on HEAT, you will need a much more expensive gun than the super 9 regardless of how well it shoots

well ill check that site out. i like these thou, they look nice to me. and im not thinking of beeing a primary sniper, but sniper once in a while. i will be carring an AEG as back up. just if i want to camp ( if i can ) then take out my sniper. you know what i mean? if thats allowed. i know seconday AEGs are allowed in most places. im not sure for that one. but im probably going to upgrade the super 9, or i will get a new one later on in the days. not this year thou. maybe not next, cuz im aiming more at CA AEG guns right now. well for next year. my sniper is fine for now. im still trying to see if i like. and as i said earlier im not going to be a primary sniper. im not the most passent person in the world. i cant just sit around in one spot. so thats why im getting an ak soon. this week actualy i hope.

The camo will be fine but that Double Eagle AEG is more of a low-end gun and not one of the common brands players at events use like classic army, tokyo marui, ics, g&g, or TOP. Even though it may shoot at the same fps as those guns, it is still a cheaper weapon which our team likes to stay away from -- they're just not realistic enough.

Our rules say it is fine for a few games so you can see if you like the sport or not, but in the future you should really consider finding a way to purchase a more expensive one.

well it costs less, but its all metal just like a classic army. it is made of at least compatible with TM parts. i dont get why its not good. i could just say its a classic army or a TM since its all metal. the body the gears the gear box. the berrel the everything really. you could always lie lol. plus im looking at a spring for it wich could bring it at about 400 FPS or more. i can get it off ebay for like 20 bux or less. but i asked the guy if i need like a new gear box so the spring would take effect or anything. well do i? im asking you guys cuz u would know more.


and you cant tell that the ak is made by double eagle. it looks like a TM. ill order it. play with you guys and see what you think. lol you could aways lie. lol JK. but in the future im obviosly going to get a classic army. maybe next year, when i get my car and can get a better job. if not next year, then the year after that. but in the soon 2 years i will switch to classic army. untill then im only playing with my super 9, mp5 ( single shot), and my AEG ak. and as for the realism, its very realistic. its been made to every detail. there isnt much, you got safty, semi, and auto for swich, you got the fully adjustable site. i dont see whats the big diffrence. my freind got one, a single shot for 70 bux and its perfectly detailed. but wen i buy it, and you guys see it maybe then you can decide. but im really going to go with classic army after a year or 2. not TM, TM still has plastic bodys.


what do you think. people wont know that its a double eagle. if it says it anyware i could always scratch it. i have my ways =P

as for the sniper, im going to use it once in a while. im not going to get a sniper unless i really really like it. if i dont that much ima just going with classic army. but i could still try right? =) do you guys have practices or anything soon? like before the game? maybe i could meet up with you guys. =)

just lookin at new ppls forums and i noticed u wanna buy a double eagle....dont do it...spend some more money and get a CA or ICS...even if they r compatible with TM parts its still not gonna compare to and ICS or CA....o and i saw u live in glenview.....me too....hopefully ill see u sunday

nice....r u gonna get an upgrade for it?? cuz all TM's start stock at 280 FPS which isnt much....but its alot better than a Double Eagle

o alright....kewl ya so stay away from the ouble eagle and all those low end guns and be sure to upgrade it to like 350 cuz it comes out to 280 stock
