Just got a pair of Chinese multi cam knock offs. they are pretty nice you can tell they are fake, some of the button holes are to small, there is no button hole on the pants, but there is a button which I found kind of odd, they do have all the correct pockets, Velcro and fit nicely, I added some pictures they look like they will work good wit anything OD and for the woods will be great. they are a little lighter then the woodland BDU"S but there patter is way cooler and I think they will work just fine in the city or woods, hell why would the army make something new if they were not going to use it oh if you dont like how you have to have you kneck covered you can fold it down like on a regular shirt.

I was thinking about getting multicam too (as long as I got the $$$), but I was thinking about getting it here:
sealsactiongear.com/ca...e/home.asp
It's cheaper than the original stuff from Crye, but is made from fabric supplied by Crye itself.
EDIT: Anybody else wanna take the multicam plunge? I'm thinking that as long as I can find it 'cheap' (and in stock), I'll be wearing multicam too. I'm thinking this might be better than my other link:

As soon as all my other stuff is payed off I plan on ordering a set. I really want the set from Crye, the combat uniform with the built in kneepads, but I dont know if I want to throw that much money down.

Guys, if you're thinking of going the Multicam route, I strongly suggest either the actual Crye gear (expensive I know), SKD Tac's set, or ICE Tactical's set.
The others out there are either knock off MC, assembled of actual Crye fabric, but are very terrible/weak in construction (fall apart worse than TruSpec), or aren't even assembled right in the first place.
Just my suggestions, take it or leave it, but if you're thinking of dropping some coin on good gear, you might as well get your money's worth out of it...

Amen, thank you Knight for those words of advice. Straight Crye people!

Heh, good thing I got mine from SKD. Though I would think that the companies listed at www.multicampattern.com/ would also be reputable dealers, since Crye itself is the one who runs the site.

If Crye runs that site then I would figure they are all real multicam, but like Knight was saying, not always good. Like they may be made out of the same materials, but they aren't built well and will fall apart quicker.
How do you like em Jon? How do they fit?

So far they seem pretty good. I'm gonna guess these SKD ones are intened to go under a vest of some sort though, as the jacket only uses velcro to stay 'buttoned up'. Whether or not velcro alone works I'll have to wait until a game to find out. Fit seems fine, though the trousers are a bit long, which is actually fine for me since I like room to move around. The company (SKD Tactical) was good, $5 dollar flat rate shipping, same or next day processing... I ordered this monday, Labor Day, and got it thursday. I'll put up some pictures later on when I have some more time.
