Hello all,

I've been an alcohol- I have an airsoft team.

We really have no team uniform. Nothing very organized besides the fact that *most* of us show up at about 9/ 10 AM every Sunday at our airsoft field and fight away/ play new scenarios. The field is pretty massive, comprised of woodland, grassy meadows, a large hill, creek (that empties into a pond), a few natural trenches and bunkers. It's private property, and we've never once been bothered in the five years we've been playing in that particular arena (Only a couple dozen meters from my house.)

Ages range from Seniors at Conant High School to me, a Freshie at Harper College, to a 23-year-old. (We used to have a guy in his mid 40's. The dude was talented.)

We're team "Ragtag" until we get something a little more organized/ official going. We sell a lot of our weapons, trade, and barter, so it's hard to say who consistantly has what, but it's suffice to say that most of the guns are stock (As we kicked out the sr-25 400fps man), and range from the new mP7- To the origianal TM Ak 47.

The camo/ gears is again, quite versatile. Ranged from German woodland BDU's to black duster jackets. (The man's a fan of the spaghetti Westerns). Our tactics and communications is n00b at best, but I'm trying to work on that :]

All in all, we're looking for serious players ONLY. Milsimers are a plus, geardo's are welcomed, etc.

I already sent one of you guys PM, and I was given instructions to relay the information in *this 'ere* particular section of the forums.

Yes, we want to play. No, not just team vs. team, we'll mix up our guys to avoid cheating and whatnot if you'd like.

Lastly, by serious we mean "people who have AEG's and some form of gear."

Misleading, but I'm tired and lazy. We just don't want to fight a bunch'a springer (again).

Yea Jimmy I dont think they were trying to get players to join their team, but rather have us play against them. I didnt really get the serious players only thing either because I never thought any of us were not serious about playing.

Also, Scotty, where did you get the idea that we have springers? Check out our badass roster page and see ifyou can find one. None of us have ever used springers in a game before.

It appears the original post is a general one that applies to our team as well as any other people who might want to play with their team. He's just making it clear that those who want to play with them can't use springers.

No, not really. That's the immature side of airsoft that makes states outlaw the real enthusiasts from having a good time.

Never had an EBB war? EBB or even springer wars can be real fun. And no, I'm not saying be a stupid arsehole and go out in public with one, but seriously. As a wind down after a serious game, have a springer war. It can really be quite a time.

We used to have EBB and Springer wars in Mike Kennedys basement all the time, its hella fun.

Sorry to necro post, but this is my hello. Scotchy is a friend of mine who is no longer leading this group of kids calling themselves a team, which is now known as Midwest Mercs. I am heading up these guys and tryin to find more people to game with/against. Most of us are upgraded as far as our guns go. getting the walkie talkie thing down and trying to finalize our cammo. we game every sunday in the afformentioned field in Elk Grove. If any of you are interested in joining us for a game day please let me know and i'll be happy to give you directions. We're also willing to make the trip to your field(s) if we're invited for any open games.

On sundays we have anywhere from 10-20 people and are always looking to grow. for a game at your field I could get at least 5 guys. Looking forward to meeting you guys, hope to see you on the field.

we aren't exactly well known in the airsoft community. when i came about this group of guys about 3-4 months ago they were just playin against each other. The main guy of the group(scotchy829) didn't wanna hold the so called leadership role, so i kinda stepped in. Since then alot of the guys have wanted to take it to another level and upgrade/get better weapons/gear and to play other teams. We played some guys in algonquin the other day and were very dissapointed. i brought 9 guys with and they only had 4.

as far as our field goes, we have verbal police permission to play where we do, but that's as far as it goes. For the 5 years this field has been used for paintball(not us) and airsoft, there have been no complaints.
If anyone doesn't have plans for tomorrow(sunday) IM me at Rzrssndrome if you wanna come check out the field. I'll hook you up with directions and any other info you need. even if you can't get the whole team together, maybe a couple of you can scout it out for the rest. let me know. game starts at 10am

Serious update: A lot has changed about our team. We are now infact two separate faction (Dramatic and exciting, right?)

There is the team MwM and StoFa. Eitherway we still play on the field that I and the MwM faction leader (Tbozzle) had mentioned. Please pay no mind to any invitation to this field. You were correct in rejecting his invite, as it is not worth the risk of another arrest or an arrest at all.

I apologize for my arrogance, and please be warned that it is both private property and still holds a risk.

Lastly, the names mentioned (Angelo) and whatnot, are very misrepresented, and would like to be removed, or had both this (and that other thread) deleted if possible.

That said, is MwM or StoFa wish to play you guys, let's all meet on a legit field, eh? Thanks!
