Just added an Airsoft gun to the arsenal here (okay, it's been nothing but swords before now), and new we need a place to play that's Evanston. Any suggestions? Also interested in events in this area.

To specify one city for an airsoft game won't give you many results. There are only so many airsoft fields around the Midwest. The two biggest hosts right now are Challenge Park Extreme (Joliet) and Aggressive Sports Joliet (games at Fox River Paintball Park). Those are the biggest public events, but there are plenty of teams who play on their own private fields too.
