i found a good deal on ebay for a NEW uprgraded g&g m4 w/ battery, charger, 2000 bb's and for only $349... do you think i should shell out the extra 30 -50 bucks for the brand... or should i buy the classic army m4 with all the extra but w/o the upgardes?
check it out...

that store is the ebay version of evike. ( it's really confusing)... if you you look on evike they have the same gun but it's not a package and it's a little more. i read somewhere that G&G is a fairly picky gun when it comes to upgrading is that true ( i would really rather havbe the G&G but if it's gonna be a hassle for me i'll just go with the CA)
I personally have never had a problem buying from ebay... if already bought about ten things from bats to memory cards...

i think the thermold is just used for advertising i've seen it on a different site and it says that it's just a 450 rnd hicap but stil 450 rnds is relly good
ps. what is thermold exactly... i see them all the time but what's the point

A themahold magazine is the magzine that has those rivets all around it. I guess it's just for looks and better grip, not much more.
And even if it's G&G or CA, an M4 will always look like an M4. So I don't understand how you can say that you don't like the look of that M4, but that you like the look of other M4's. Or do you just not like the look of M4s all around?
And I'm pretty sure that the G&G doesn't come with a thermahold magazine. It's kind of an after market magazine that you have to purchase seperately.

i think we all understood what deadeye was talkiond about even though his terminology was a little off...
so there is no tactical use for them...i was looking at the listing and it also has an m100 spring and a tightbore w/ a 7mm gearbox how could i go wrong

G&G M-16 variants do not come with Thermold mags, though they do make some. And those are reinforcing ribs, as the mags are plastic, not metal. They are used in some numbers by the US Army too, we had a bunch of 'em last year at Ft. Mc Coy for the M-16 range.
The only part of that gun that is actually upgraded is the spring. The rest of those 'upgraded' parts are actually stock.

G&G comes stock w/ tightbore and 7mm bearings... that's pretty sweet
...it is an ebay auction so the hard part now will be to get my dad to let me use his account

What tightbore? I didn't read anything about a tightbore. If anyone could point this part out, I would appreciate it.

That's from G&G themselves.
