I need Range, and accuracy, Power is in there somewhere as well, Size is no matter because it's a pistol, so...help me out here guys. Money is no object.

Is money an issue? If not, check into pistols by Western Arms. They use real trademarks (at least on their SVI series), they are well built, and they are unique. They can run you the cost of a cheap AEG, though so check your priorities before buying one.

If money is an issue (meaning you're pretty much human), you may want to consider a KWC Desert Eagle. I owned two of those guns and the only thing I didn't like was its mag release and the plastic slide + orange tip. KSC and KWC are great brands that sell for reasonable prices.

Like Adam said the Western Arms guns are built beautifully. The only reson that I myself, or any other person I know has not gotten one is that they are expensive. But you pretty much get what you pay for. Very good guns.

WA is crazy fo sho... but the price through the roof, ksc/kwa if nothing else, i would get a western arms in a second if could afford it

If you want it for skirmishing, don't go with a WA. Trust me, I have four of them. While they're great, they're far too pretty to beat up in the field.


If you want a simple, rugged, reliable airsoft pistol that'll get the job done, go with a KSC M9.

Both of my WA's have the real steel trades on the slide and on the grip medallions. But anyway, are you seriously recommending the KSC's?

What a cheap piece of crap. I had bought one of their M9's as my first sidearm, and it was nothing but a piece of junk. The front sight fell off as I was pulling it from a holster, plus the safety lever fell off within ten minutes of drawing it. This happened at Op Asylum 2 by the way. Yeah, you do get what you pay for. I would not in good conscious recommend them.

I have two WA's, a Wilson SCW and a Para 14.45. The only issue that I have with the Wilson is the magazine floor plate, then the cost of additional magazines, which are almost never in stock. I like the TM pistols I have two of those, and never had an issue with either of them.

I only recommend it because it's an affordable GBB pistol that 5 other people I know, plus myself, own and we have never seen any major issues with it. Perhaps we got a newer version than you or we just haven't used them long enough for them to break. Hopefully they stay working because I am done buying any more airsoft guns for a while.

If you want the range in a pistol, I would go for a C02 ran handgun. It's far more powerful then green gas. And if you're going for accuracy, I would say a Desert Eagle. The extra barrel length would give you a little bit more accuracy than the average gas pistol. I'm not sure if any company makes a decent c02 Desert Eagle, but I'm sure you could find one out there some where.

I didnt really think about that. CO2 is more compressed which gives it more power. But they usually dont have blowback which makes it kind on stupid and the slides dont really move at all. And green gas is more efficiant.

Blowback CO2 is out there, it's just hard to come across. KWA sells a Glock 18c CO2 blowback for around $150 and I know there's a Co2 blowback Desert Eagle available.

Thats what I was trying to get at. They do make them but it is very uncommon.

a lot of guns have available co2 conversion kits... or the new thing going around is using co2 in green gas mags with a co2 adaptor found on any quality airsoft site (i know airsoftgi has them)

So Bluefox, I'm assuming that since no one objected to a C02 Desert Eagle, that it would probably be your best bet at range and accuracy.

Of course there are probably more accurate pistols out there, and there are probably more powerful ones as well, but I don't know about them.
Would anyone be willing to enlighten myself and Bluefox?

if you don't care for the desert eagle much than you can also get the sigma which has both green gas and co2 mags available the sigma is also on par with the desert eagle as far as fps, so now it depends on you big gun or little gun (compared to the desert eagle)

If you treat a weapon well, it will never fail. All airsoft guns have their own little problems, and KSC's have far fewer than any others out there. If you use them right, treat them well, and don't run propane on them, you're good to go.

WA pistols are not for everyone.

People seem to drawn to the "oooh" factor of WAs than anything else, and realistically those guns are far too beautiful (and finicky) for field work.

One, I store all of my weapons in two places when not playing; in their original box, or if I have room, my gun safe. But when a brand new gun looses its front sight as it is being placed in or removed from a holster, then there is something wrong. Same thing with having the safety lever fall off.

Two, I am not talking about a catastrophic barrel failure of using too hot of a load, firing under water, or having an extractor rip the back end off a brass casing. It is a stupid sight that was not pinned on, and a safety lever held on with one small grub screw.

I don't think I am hard on any of my weapons, airsoft or real steel. I disassemble the real ones every six months just to make sure there is no rust developing internally or externally. I don't bury the things in mud or dust then try to rock and roll with them, that is just gay.

Granted, I am not comfortable disassembling an AEG mech box yet, but that will come with time.

I still don't think WAs are good pistols for the average airsoft skirmisher, and I still recommend KSC M9s. Hell, most KSC's are good guns.

Honestly, since it happened, it has been sitting in a box in my crawlspace along with a UTG shotty that split down the mold seam. I'm not going to go and waste my time to dig it out to see if the little balls of joy still shoot out of it.

Granted the shot gun came free from one of my orders, and the little 'red dot site' laser that came with it is used to annoy my dog.

Western Arms, Ok...Can I get a link to a site that sells them? And as a Backup a link to the Co2 Desert Eagle/Sigma.
