This must of happend to some of you at lest once. Ok you guys are in the middle of a game and you end up saying to each other "I need a mag!" "i'm out!" And every one else is in a fire fight and to busy to even think about that... Any way my point is what do you think about STAR G36 and a 5000 round box mag? is it worth is/ not having to carry and extra Mag's or ammo. Is it worth it???

I had a CMAG for my g36 and it broke it because of all the auto-fire. I dont recommend it.

well like you said it broke from all the full auto shooting, but i think it's more fun struggling to find a mag in the middle of a firefight instead of just running around shooting without a care, besides i don't think any body needs that many rounds for one day, the most i've ever used is probably around 1100. you should also consider that you may have to do do some gearbox reinforcement (depending on what brand of gun you get)

pick your shots, save ammo, bring a speed loader and play smart, there is no need fot that box mag. I like my mid caps more then my high caps. plus a high cap is from 250 to 500 rounds go through that and you are shooting waaaay to much.

exacly, if you shoot in .5-1 second burst you should have no problem without the box mags

Now, if you wanted to turn the G36 into an MG36 LMG (and the durability upgrades to go with it) and were going to use it as a SAW, then I'd say go for it. If that's what you want to do with your money (I personally wouldn't). But there are other options if you don't want to change mags often.

I never have had a problem with running out of ammo. If you are going through so much ammo that you need a 5000 rd mag then I think that you will have a bigger problem of shooting way too much. Plus when you have fewer bb's on you it forces you to be a better shot and wait for opportunity instead of shooting at everything
