Hello sports fans;

Quick question with regards to yet another overseas company: www.uncompany.com

Have any of you ever shopped there, had issues with them, etc?

Reason why I am asking; they have all of the parts in that I need for a project gun.

Thanks much.

Supposedly they are a good company to order from. Fast shipping, good customer service and all that jazz. I've never ordered from them, but from conversations that I've had, people have always said that they are good. I'm guessing that they're more or less like redwolf or wgcshop, just a different place to buy from. Hope this helps your decision.

I have ordered from UNCompany many times. Great company to deal with, but when you order, advise them to ship your items via EMS Speedpost, absolutely no TNT.

If you get TNT shipping, you'll recieve a nice little bill from them a few months down the road for VAT/Customs charges.

If you don't tell them otherwise, they'll shipt TNT, and TNT will hose you.

Otherwise I've never had any issues with them, and they're good to go in my books.

Well that's a good thing to know. Who wants to pay extra on an already expensive item, right?

I ordered all the internals for my VSR from them awhile back, and they are a very good company to deal with. They responded to all my emails within a day or two.

I have shoped at uncompany before many times. They were actually the place where I bought my first airsoft gun from. They have great stock and lots of stuff you will never find anywhere else. The shipping is quick and I have had no probs, other than a nice tax duty, but never a hold by customs cause they did not do something right.

Having said that, here is where you should watch out. Order what you need to upgrade or any acce you need..but don't ever order a custom gun from them. Actually even be carefull on ordering a gun period. Toggle can tell you about his experince and I have my story as well.
But from the sound of it ordering parts is ok.

Ordering custom guns from anyone overseas is a gamble.

Hell, most stateside guys are tricky, too....

I've heard and seen many horror stories about buying custom guns or guns that are upgraded by the merchants - spacers in the springs instead of upgraded springs, mix'n'match bushings (some oiless metal, some nylon), cut piston heads and air nozzles, holes drilled all over the place - the list goes on and on...

And these nightmare guns were from "reputable" dealers both stateside and overseas.

funny you mention it, but when is sent is my gun to airsoft atlanta, they said they did cut holes in my piston head, and a plastic nozzel...basically they did the bare minimum of an upgrade, they said my gun would not have lasted that long in that shape.
