Come to Asylum.

Meet Team Megaforce.

Listen to Knight ramble as he chainsmokes and mocks others.

This I command.

It is actually fairly expensive for what you get - but it is also as much fun as you choose to make it. You can play in the woods all the time, but playing in fun buildings and scaring old people is infrequent and also entertaining.

You have insulted my manhood!

Aww what the hell I havnt gone to an Asylum yet, and since this is the last one (Didnt they say that before?) I might as well go.

Plus I can't pass up the oppertunity to chain smoke and scare old people!

is the limit really 350 fps for this event, is so why not 400 i thought that was more typical.

This is indoor play. A lot of the contact is within 20 feet. 400 is a little too hot, 350 will make you bleed as is at these ranges.

yeah toggle is right.. at the last one towards the end of the game i had the sheild. we had to get up a level and the opposite side had us pinned in the stairs. it was like we were on the ground level and we had to get to the second level, but the team had guys in the stairs on the third level. so if anyone was going to go up the stairs and into the second level they would have been shot. so i get between the door and the third level and start shooting so my team can move up. well some guys from the third level thought it would be smart to shoot the wall behind me and then the bb would hit my back..not an out, but an asshole thing to do. i heard these things bounce from the wall and felt them hit my back.. by the time i got home. my back was covered in welts and a few started bleeding.

actually, i think they put a rule in place if a bb bounced off in close proximity and hit u it would count. i dont remember tho. i remember something being said about it.

the rule was if it bounced off your cover and hit you then you are out.. but if it hit the wall and bounced back it does not count.

I thought all ricochets count.

Wouldn't a wall be considered cover of some kind?

no, justin said that if it hit the wall behind you and bounced back at you. as if your back is to the wall. and someone shoots and it bouces and hits your back then it does not count. but if you are behind a table and the bb hits the table and bounces and hits your face then it counts.

if all bounces like that counted.. we would all just shoot the ceiling and hit everyone.

If you ever need any information about an even that is not stated in the forums, check the Game Attendance page. If the cost or some type of info. like that is not posted on top, then check the description of the game.

But to save you time the cost is 50 bucks before march 30 and 60 after march 31.

I still haven't made up my mind on this one. Is it going to be worth the $60 bucks?

If you've never been to one, you should definitely go. I guess there are more factors involved with your final decision, but if you are just worried about getting your moneys worth, I would say you should go.

Good deal. You'll have a great time just hanging out with the HEAT guys that are going. The first time I went was SLE's second event doing Asylum and I had a lot of fun. They've just kept getting better, but I wouldn't be able to make it even if I wanted to for a few reasons.

HEAT needs a new front page picture of the team. I won't be going so if any of you guys have a nice digital camera, we'd really appreciate if you could take a picture of us at this event (I don't know if anyone else on HEAT has a quality camera or not). Take as many as you want of the team and we can upload them to our site. Thanks

Does anyone need a ride to this event, or willing to give a ride? Either way, I'm just looking to car pool for efficiency. I live in Evanston.

Also, I just RMA'd my gloves and I don't know if they are going to be back in time. If anyone has an extra pair that I could borrow for this event, I would be very grateful.

This event was AMAZING. I was the kid in Tiger Stripe, with Sam in woodland pants and his dad had an ACU vest on. M16VN, SR16, and M4A1 in that order. We came in the Armada.
