We should use some of the most important ones, because in the last game at the last CPX, Matt, Adam, Me, Axis, and Joe went to take the enemy from behind and we couldnt yell because the template was covered by team test and a few others.

I found all of these. They are the same cartoons but they are of what they actually mean. Maybe we can use these. Not related to airsoft, just general tactical usage. www.airsoftgent.be/dbase/hands.htm

I saw those as well. There's so many, it would be hard to memorize.

I'll try to dig up the sheet of hand signals I got back in basic training. Though in all honesty we don't need many hand signals, a few basic ones can be used to convey most intentions.

there may be some obvious reasons i may be missing but can't we just make some up ...(like in baseball...except they make sense)... just quick flash or gesture that is easy to remember

Hell, if anything we can make up some simple ones if we needed to.

sidenote... if we do use hand signals would that mean only one person would need a radio ( i hate hate carrying them it's a waste of space to me)

It would still be a good idea to have a radio anyway.
With handsignals you can communicate with those immediately around you, without noise. Which is good if there are 'enemy forces' nearby and you don't want them hearing that your buddy is going to flank left.
But unless you have line-of-sight with your team mates, you'll still need/want a radio to communicate. Especially on larger fields.
