Red Dawn Airsoft would like to announce a reschedule date for Operation: Take Down.  We are calling it Operation: Take Down Reloaded (Cliché I know, but fun of course), and will be held on January 20th and 21st, 2007.

This event will be one of the largest CQB events in the history of Airsoft and we are treating it as such.  After testing the waters last weekend and learning from our mistakes we are going to run this one similar to Northern Wind.

We have set up a forum for Red Dawn Airsoft and have put all of the information regarding the event on the forum.

just in case you are questioning face protection, the rules are like this

under 18 full face protection

under 21 full seal goggles only, no face protection requirred

over 21, option to only use anzi rated glasses, i.e. shooting glasses, which though isn't wise for indoor

personally due to full auto rules, i'll be sporting ess goggles and a half face wrap

OMG you are going to make me spend so much money now!

ok i want to go to this so bad, Eric goes to school in Holland and we have a summer house no more then an hour and a half from the place where we are heading. I am GOING and I have to assume Eric is going to go too. Anyone else that wants to come is more then welcome.

If you want to come you need to
1) get your own ride I have my truck which can haul lots of gear and the food for the weekend.
2) You need to bring like 15 for food, we have a small kitchen but we have cooked for 30 in the past and I can cook so we will have good food.
3) There are 9 beds 1 couch and the floor so we can sleep lots of people however that means you cant just tag along, I have to have met you or someone on HEAT put in a good word for you.

Now some side notes, I saw if we do this we look good, so I am getting a bunch of gear now that I was going to get before. Lets look good kick ass and take names, I have some secret weapons that I have been working out and now am going to make over break, lets just call it psychological warfare!

The invitation extends out to besides heat so if Martyn wants to come he’s more then welcome, let me know what your plans are and we can get the ball rolling, HEAT IN THE HOUSE

i know there are atleast 2 of us from tmf who are planning on making the trip, probably going to play on the "bad guy" team as well

Alright so is HEAT going in as the good or bad guys? I will take anything but if we go bad I gotta get some black BDU's.

i'd love to go, but i doubt i can get anyone from my team to go, bunch of lazy asses. plus i can't get saturday's off. unless i come up saturday night and play sunday

Make sure to take a look at all the links because you dont want to go out there and not me the requirments. For example, its indoor so its max 350 fps with .20's. Everything is posted but i wanted to tell you cause i would hate to see people show up and not be able to play.

it's VERY big if but if i can go i would love to...

I know I want to go. Hopefully my XM-177 will be running so I don't have to downgrade the M14. I'd prefer to be the good guys, but either one works for me since I can use body armor if I feel like it (I would only do so to weigh myself down for realism).

I'll talk to Vic about this one, if he goes then we should be able to use the 'Airsoft Bus'.

Heck yeah, I cant wait to do some airsofting in January. I am totally in, just bring my gear and guns and lets rock and roll

HEAT should go as bad guys...

kevin and i were talking about gogin as SWAT but my first impression was to be a bad guy becasue then i can set up my toys and cause all kinds of fun. i guess we are gonna need to vote on it

Remember thought, that the bad guys have to wear black or street clothes and th good guys wear like camo or OD. So ifyou wanna go in like an all black SWAT look you have to be the bad guys.

hmm...well the only gear i have is OD. thats a problem cuz i wanna be bad. but i dont really care whatever works.
