Hi. i'm greg from Lake Villa. I've been into airsoft for um 2 or 3 years now. After the perchase of many crappy guns i have perchased a TM M3 shorty. I realize that a shotgun is not the prefered primary weapon, but so far it's all i have. I also so older BDUs, although they're alil beat up they do the job.
I was planning on getting a AEG when i found a team to join. I saw no reason to spend 500$ to get a full load out only to plink around in my back yard. I'm not sure what type of weapon i will perchase, something the is both good for wooded and CQB. I love CQB.
I realize that im also not the require age limit. i'm 15 (dec. 17), and i do not drive. My dad has pretty much agreed although, to drive me if i pay for some of the gas.

i believe jon (Yoroiden) is the oldest at 24, admin is finishing up his senior year of high school, and we have a 15 year finishing up his freshman year. the rest of us are 19, 20 or going on 21

Actually I don't turn 24 until May, but close enough.
I would say go with the CA for you first aeg. G&G's are good, but require more maintainance than CA.

I have concern about the CA M15 A4 CQB Compact..... will do any good in wooded skirmises it prob. has less accuratey becuase of the shorted barrel.

If you are worried about losing accuracy from the shortened barrel, buy the CA M15A4 rifle or just upgrade the cqb with a stronger spring.

you could always buy a longer inner barrel and get a silencer. although it may be a litle more expensive.

That wouldn't make any sense unless you just liked the look of the cqb. If he wants a gun that is practical for cqb, you don't want to make it longer ... you would just buy a gun with a longer barrel.

I wouldnt recomend the CQB just because i have had a bad experience with crane stocks. The batteries are a pain to get in and out and the wiring is at risk. Also, if you want to get a good battery, you may be giving up being able to completely extend the stock.
Oh yea...and im the 15 year old on the team. 16 at the end of the year.

if you want something that is good for cqb and in the woods, your best bet is the CA M15A4 carbine

um ok, thax for the advice. Thats prob. the only CA gun that i held, it was at ASJ, very solid. I have to say though my dream gun has always been the G&G RK-104, but under the advice of Yoroiden, i'm looking at other things.
