why dont we have a heat chatroom. more or less and live chatroom about a topic. that way if multiple people on the site want to talk now, they can just use the chatroom? i dunno, just a thought, i don't know much about computers or stuff like that so i would have no clue if we would need more room or whatnot.

That chat thing is cool as hell, I should set that back up on my computer so we can all be on there. Then there is also AIM.

Then again a chatroom would be interesting too. Would people actually hop on there? I think I would.

cool, thanks. i just see a lot topics go off subject and most people get mad. so with a chatroom we could talk about anything. but i do see why people would not use it cause at times we don't have a lot of members on the site at the same time. but i know i would use it.

should use a chat that is easy to set up that you dont have to download, thats why i never used the chat thingy. the toxic 6 guys have a chat link at the bottom of their forum. no downloading or installing. im all for a chat

Ok. There are two options for us: TeamSpeak and a web-based chat room. Some of you are already thinking "I don't want to download TeamSpeak, I want to talk online." Well, TeamSpeak does have its advantages:
(1) It's already setup for anyone to use
(2) Installation isn't that difficult (See our TS page
(3) You can actually TALK to people instead of typing
(4) See number 3 again lol

Disadvantages:
(1) It's running off my computer (it's always online though)
(2) You need a microphone
(3) Someone always has a problem with getting their sound to work on it
(4) It's really only best for longer conversations like team meetings

Anyways, I think TeamSpeak is more of a team discussion area but any of you are welcome to join. We don't go on that often, but maybe we can set up a discussion time. I will work on finding a web-based chat room sometime today.

i'm down with either. i just have to get a mic. it would would be great, even for example like last night. since we could not have a airsoft night at a location, then we have a teamspeak on the site, or the chatroom. whatever i'm down with.

Doesnt matter to me because i have teamspeak, cause i use it CS:S and DoD:S servers

can't find a good one that works with this website for the life of me. I'll either have to get one that makes you enter a username every time or we'll just have to use teamspeak and have it crap out every once in a while. My headset broke so I won't be on that until I get a new one

Look into IRC. If you really want, I'll create a channel on DeltaAnime.net's IRC server. I'm already on there for a Ragnarok Online server. They have a web applet, too.

Teamspeak is nice for things like team meetings, and for a standby just to hope on and chat with people if they actually use it. I have used it for online gaming for quite a while. I have also used Ventrilo, a very similar software.
