Play Airsoft in a 2-wing, 7 level abandoned hospital in Forest Park Illinois! Featuring multiple missions / scenarios including a Hostage Situation, Going
Postal,building clearing and test your skills against the actual Forest Park Special Response Team!
Players will also assist in training with real Law Enforcement Officers in felony car stops…

This event is a Charity fundraiser for the Forest Park Police Department to purchase and use Airsoft equipment for training purposes. 16 years and older only. 16-17 year olds MUST have a signed, NOTARIZED SLE Waiver from their parents or they will NOT be allowed to play. No Exceptions.

Limited to the first 80 paid participants.

The building is 2 wings that meet in an "L" shape. One wing is 4 stories, the other 3. Each level has two main hallways with rooms along the outside windows and nurses stations, showers, etc in the middle. There are several stairwells as seen in the videos.

You will be split into groups and your group will go through the missions together. When all missions are completed everyone will gather for a final battle throughout the entire building.

One of the missions will be to take on the Forest Park SRT (Special Response Team)....Don't forget to bring a change of civilian clothes.

In between missions, you will be able to train with uniformed patrol officers in felony car stops. Basically a Police Car will have another car pulled over. You will be the driver or passengers. You will be given one of a series of scenarios which will be unknown to the Officer.

Some scenarios include:
Driver attempts to shoot officer at window
Passenger attempts to shoot officer at window
Occupants get out shooting etc....

Haha, of all the people on the forums, I'm the one with money to spend but I've heard that "last asylum" too many times to really believe that. I've also done this event enough times to know that it's not worth it for me. A few reasons: My m15 will shoot hot and I will have to use only my pistol, the stairwells always get crowded and you have some dick telling you to run out even though you'll probably get hit, there are really only a few ways to go in that place and you never get a chance to know who's on your team.

You can pretty much just hide in a room for the other team to come, say you are on their team and shoot them as they walk past you -- trust me, it happens. On top of all that, I just don't want to spend that much on a game even though ASJ/SLE does a great job at getting the game going and holding cool scenarios in really cool places. Airsoft was 1/3 of my expenses last year. You will find me at outdoor events though

yeah i know. the last asylum was like that. but you go for multiple reasons. you meet cool guys like DT. I actually met Kevin and Steve there. You get to play in a different setting than a field. and try your hand a using a pistol. I used my p99 and my m9 at asylum and i had a blast. but if u don't wanna go i'll see u on the field..maybe throught my red dot sight lol

cool beans. i ordered mine today (wensday) but i dont know if im gunna go to this. ive got a month or to to think about it yho. we'll see

It is actually fairly expensive for what you get - but it is also as much fun as you choose to make it. You can play in the woods all the time, but playing in fun buildings and scaring old people is infrequent and also entertaining.
