Ive been to CPX many times and Ive been disappoined everytime. We wait over a half an hour between games, event never starts on time, and the refs are the worst Ive ever seen. I dont wanna write what happened but im just gonna say that CPX is one of the worst airsoft experiences ive had.

You should try the fox paintball event on the 22nd. the events are run by much nicer people, and the fields are pretty decent. 25 dollars if you preregister by the 18th. 35 dollars at the door.

...obviously you haven't been there in a long time... the refs are assholes, not hard asses they didn't do a single thing, and we spent about 2 hours playing and the rest of the day waiting...
CPX=paintball field (you can't put it any simpler)

I'd heard that the December game ran much more smoothly than the horrible joke of November. Maybe the owner actually listened when we talked to him last year.

.... I doubt it.
Simply put, airsoft is not as profitable as paintball - especially to a paintball field.
Secondly, I don't appreciate being treated like a second class citizen when I went to CPX. The staff there were not very receptive, supportive, or engaged when it came to working with airsoft players to make the games run the way we wanted. CPX prefers to run airsoft like paintball, and that is absolutely unacceptable. If I wanted to play paintball, I'd buy a paintball gun. I have personally seen many instances of safety put into question at CPX, and instead of a constructive solution, CPX instead decided to listen to one deluded individual and ruin any sense of spirit towards the hobby that it could have provided. Additionally, their fields are too small for a true airsoft game, the fields that are kinda cool (like Bedlam and Armageddon) are not really all that great, and we didn't ever get to spend more than an hour or so at them. Top that off with an hour and a half drive from my home, and CPX can take a flying leap.
I do not support CPX, and I do not condone their pathetic excuse to "structured" airsoft games.
Now, the last time I went there was for the last Codename: Thunder, and they may have shaped up their act - but I already gave them their chance.
Thank you, drive through.
Support AIRSOFT, not Paintsoft.

The first couple times I went to CPX it was okay for airsoft. But it steadily got worse later in the year. For me November was the worst one, and I'd have to flip a coin to decide if it was worse than day 1 of OP Takedown (I thought day 2 was actually kinda cool).
