Cobra is hosting their second game at Blast Camp. Our first game was a great success, so we will be doing it again. The scenario for this game is loosly based on the classic techno thriller RSR.
Russian special forces (spetznas) have been tasked to infiltrate and destroy a NATO early warning and fire control radar installation moments before the major offensive campaign is to begin. The NATO garrison is taken by suprise, however quickly regains composure and puts up a hasty defense.

Will the radar remain intact to help the NATO forces retain air superiority, or will the Spetznas be able to take out the radar installation and put a hole in the air defense network in central Germany?

This will be a scenario game with no breaks in the action except for lunch. There will be medic rules, respawn rules, ammo limits and uniform requirements.

Medic Rules: We will be borrowing the Elgin City River Rats medic rules. I will expand on these in a following post.

Respawn Rules: Players will have an unlimited number of respawns. However when a player returns to HQ to respawn he must remain in the base until a squad of 4 is available to return to the field. The player is alive and may return fire if the base is under attack, but may not return on to the field until a squad of 4 or more players is available.

Ammo limits: Players may only carry 1000 rounds of ammunition. They may bring additional ammo to the HQ, but patrols are only allowed 1000 rounds carried. 1000 rounds includes any ammo carried for a secondary. Support guns will have a limit of 2500 rounds total carried. Support guns are limited to replicas of actual support guns, i.e. M60, M249, MG36, RPK ect.

All guns will be chrono'd at the field using field .2 gram bbs. All AEGs must chrono under 400 fps w/ .2 bb. Sniper rifles will be allowed 450 fps with and only be allowed semi automatic or bolt action. There is a 25' minimum engagement distance with sniper rifles.

Uniform requirements are:
Spetznas will wear be wearing any Russian BDU print OR Tan based BDU.

NATO forces will be wearing any NATO based green based BDU.

All players must wear full seal ansi rated goggles as well as some sort of covering for the face- balaclava, cut down pb mask, shemegah are all OK. I will be meeting this week to see if only goggles will be allowed.

Field fee is $20. BBs and green gas as well as hot dogs/soda will be available @ the field. I am working with the field owner to carry AE bbs rather than the oh-so craptastic Tippman stuff. Will work out price and such this week.

I am so down, i want to make a squad for this game and have it stick together the entire game.

Haha thats why you have to get your dad to buy his own gun so that he has a reason to play.

Those are the only two choices.... And if you have a Russian bdu, i think it would only make sense to be Russian then

I really want to get out and play. And I may be picking up a gun at the show, if 1) I have money and 2) they have decent stuff there.

what would consist of a NATO uniform. I have black bdu's would a black shirt and green pants work?

Just get a pair of woodland bdu's from an army surplus store.
