I got this surprise gun from my parents and its really cool
All metal, its gas operated and its semi auto. IT shoots 500 fps! But there is a problem with that...I cant play at most parks and the FPS is to high for some of my friends. Also w/ greengas and .2's its kind of inacurate. Any suggestion on how to lower the FPS and also make it more accurate? ITS ALL METAL AND REAL WOOD! I like.

just cuz the box says 500. doesnt mean its 500. and instead of the .2's go with .25's

alright...well the vids on youtube with the chrono if you put in HFC gas rifle the crono says 480-500 consistant so im going by that

Try using 134a gas.

Don't Know what others have said but TAKE HEED, I had the Pistol which is the same thing but with no stock and a shorter barrel, They have Plastic internals and you CANNOT find replacement parts, in short DO NOT USE Red or extreme Gas, Not good, Trust me, other than that they are fun.

yes ther are but if you've read some of the reviews or things on sites about it you would see that it is semi-auto and most parks i know only allow single shot or cocking snipers that are 500+ fps.
also blue fox on my rifle i can only find 2 plasitc pieces...one on the side of the reciever that sticks out by the button to adjust the sites and the piece that is under the hammer. Im looking in my gun right now and ive taken it apart )not a good idea cos its hard to get back together) and there was like no plastic in it...either there was and it looks like metal...or there is none,

That thing is full metal, No ABS plastic - ABS it might have are grips, But Hmm could you post some pics, Is it on full auto, if its not your should be fine as a sniper.

yea i got some pics ill put them up either tomorrow or today...and there are 2 little plastic pieces and its only semi....the only thng i dont like is that there is like no way to put a scope on but my friends dad owns a machine shop so ill let him figure somthn out! :)))

cpx and sle allow semi auto sniper weapons

Yeah sicne its semi its a sniper, all you need is a scope..

O ...alrighti thought i read on CPX rules that it said that u cnat have full or semi it has to be bolt so ikd maybethat changed...but right now im checking out just thinking of mounting a m14 rail mount on the side of either the reciever or the wood part...idk yeat but ill check it out.

Whoa, CPX does not allow semi or automatic sniper weapons. I just checked their website, and there have been no changes to their rules since last year, and that includes all sniper rifles at CPX have to be single shot or bolt action.

I haven't been to an SLE game, so I can't say for sure what their rules are.

aha!!! i knew it...i thought it said that u cant have full/semi snipers...but does my gun count as a sniper rifle? idk or does it go under just rifle ? but if i add a scope that doesnt make it a semi auto sniper right?

If it is shooting over 400 fps, and it is semi auto only, then it would be classified as a sniper rifle at a place like CPX as for most places. And a scope has nothing to do with classifying a weapon. So you have yourself-if it shoots what you say it does-a sniper rifle.

If it shoots over 400 fps, then at CPX it would be considered to be sniper class. And since CPX doesn't allow sniper rifles that are semi or full auto, you wouldn't be able to use it at CPX. Sorry.

Some fields do allow semi-auto sniper rifles. For a short time last year, Realms of Ruin did allow PSG-1 sniper rifles that shot over 400fps, because it is purposely made to be a sniper weapon, and cannot be made to fire in full auto.

cpx use to allow sniper class weapons on all fields but 2. bedlam and Armageddon. this i remember cuz Don brought out his rifle and was using it. my mistake the rules have been changed

That's not what we're saying.

CPX never stopped allowing sniper class weapons, but they do have restrictions on which types of sniper weapons aren't allowed.

At CPX you CAN use a single shot and/or bolt action sniper rifles. But you CANNOT use semi-auto sniper rifles, or any full-auto sniper rifles.

20. Sniper weapons mus be single or bolt action (gas or spring). NO SEMI-AUTOMATIC or FULL Auto electronic guns are allowed. There are no exceptions Any violations will result in immediate and permanent removal from the park.

b. The sniper's weapon mus fire between 400fps and 550fps. NO EXCEPTIONS

That is an excerpt from CPX's rules. So the mauser being a semi auto, gas gun (?) will be allowed under the strict interpretation of their rules.

only ELECTRIC sniper weapons (be it semi or full auto) are not allowed on the park.

Are the stock and front "handguard" of the mauser real wood or wood finish plastic?

But the first line says sniper weapons must be single or bolt action. Semi-auto is not single or bolt action.

Easiest way to find out which is right is to call CPX.
