Freeze, nice to meet ya, man. Atlas - when you were in that tank I almost went up to you to shake your hand. I didn't see your DCU pants! Right as I was moving from cover, you pulled out a pistol and started shooting wildly out of the window. It didn't look like I was in your sights, but I almost walked RIGHT up to you...

The game could have used more coordination. I should have joined US side... The squads for the Venezuelans were just TOO unorganized.

It was great meeting everyone at once at this event. Nice to see sureshot, freezer, and toggle again. The airsoft itself could have been a lot better with some better organization. I think it's really stupid when he just sets it up so we are attacking each others HQ. It's much more fun to patrol through the woods and bring up random firefights for well defined objectives. Anyway, in the future I think I'll stay home for Destro's games. The most fun that I had all day was going out on a flanking attack with mustangpwr, sureshot, and putt-putt from shadow company. See you guys next time.

I agree Bombsquad. The only patrols I went on were with Impact when we were tired of the only mission we ever got, "Hold the motor pool"

Objectives need to have rewards if you take them and punishments if you don't. All holding the motor pool did for us was we got to get eliminated by ricochets all day.

Michaelv, i did not see you bro. But like freeze said, next time you see us just walk up and say hi.

TotallyL337 you should have man, when was it? when we were in the city or the octagon? I have never seen a pic of you bro. If i did i could have recognixed you and said hi if i had seen you.

Bombsquad, sorry you felt that way. You make a good point, but keep playing, if anything let Destro know how you felt and give him suggestions. Its not like he will ban you from future games for giving him your input. If anything he would probably want to hear it and make a change.

Otherwise I had a blast. Being in the tank for the first time was awsome. The weatther was awsome. the hole day was great. It was nice to see everyone there.

Anyone have any pics from the game? I would love to see them.

Definately a fun game. I'll be at the next one.

I wasn't on the Venezuelan/Spetz side, so I can't comment on how that was organized, but it seems that some of the organization problems might have come down to individual commanders.

On the US side we had Cobra Commander in charge, and he seemed to have a fairly good handle on keeping things going. As soon as a handful of guys had gathered at our HQ/respawn, they got sent off on a mission. Might have been to attack something, maybe as reinforcements to a squad nearly being overrun. When I would be waiting to respawn I noticed he spent most of the time getting sitreps (situational reports) from the squads, and coordinating operations.

For me the best part (of the main game) was the last big offensive we launched, sweeping from the berm, taking the octagon fort, pushing around to the barracks, then moving on the mess hall.

Dude, I was on the other team! I just saw your black shirt and figured the tank was in our hands, and went to say hey. Then you started shooting at us with your pistol, and I realized you were US.

Another issue was that tank. Who's team was it on? I remember radioing Destro to ask, and he replied, "I don't know!"

The tank was on both sides. It started out Venezuelan, but if one side took it out, and got an 'engineer' to it, it could be taken over. And it could be taken back in the same manner.

Right, but when the take casually rolls up next to you, It's hard to tell who's inside... Good or bad guys? That's what happened at the motor pool when Atlas was in the passenger seat.

there's some pics that PB took.

Ah, gotcha.

Perhaps having a flag on the turret would help.

Well mates, sorry I missed it. This was one I didn't want to miss. I'm sitting in my hotel room in Peru, IL, bored off my arse. Just got back, and found you guys broke up. Oh well. Life goes on.

Sounds like the game was a blast. When's the next? Wink

Good luck and stay safe mates.

1) Your team is either from Chicago or a suburb of Detroit.
2) Detroit sucks.
