Well, the old WTF topic disappeared, and I came across a pretty big WTF I thought I should share.

One a field trip to the Statesville prison for my corrections class, I learned that an inmate in prison can have a sex change operation in prison on the tax payers dollars.

f**k that. I could care less if someone wanted a sex change, but I'M NOT PAYING FOR IT.

Yeah people want to do their own s**t, thats fine by me, but when its a convict in prison, and part of it comes from my money, then I get upset.

That and the fact that they sit on their asses, get 3 hots and a cot and still have a better health plan then me.

No, I am out at MCC, my family moved out to Crystal Lake the day I graduated high school.

I am trying to transfer to Western right now to get my Bachelors degree. I think I am going to take a semester off and start testing for some smaller departments, but I am still not 100% sure yet.

We should start doing what China does to prisoners: Bullet to the brainbox, then charge the family for the round(s). Bet ya crime would drop then.

Or, even better, victims of the crime get to repay the offender in kind, plus automatic castration for the sex offenders, pedophiles, and rapists. (I am very pro victim) with the use of a rusty and dull or broken blade.

EDIT: Another fantastic thing I found out in my class, prisoners can also get a college education while behind bars, on you guessed it, the tax payers dollars. And I am busting my ass off to pay my bills for school why?

I think that's a bit over the line personally. I'm liberal, but believe me, the ACLU handbook isn't exactly my personal guidebook to life.

I really do think forced castrations of sex offenders should be part of the crime. It's PROVEN that they almost NEVER are rejuvenated. A released sex offender usually repeats, so why not cut off the problem at its source.
