Okay, I'm thinking it's time to try some upgrades for the M-14. This is what I'm planning to get:
Prometheus Hop-up Bucking
M120 Spring
Systema Aluminum Piston Head w/ Bearings
7mm Ball Bearings
And if money allows down the road:
G&G M14 Metal Spring Guide
Systema New Polycarbonate Piston
Systema Torque Up Gears
G&G Wood Stock
Any suggestions for alternate/additional parts? I've already got a Systema 6.04 590mm PSG-1 barrel installed.

Make sure your gearbox uses 7mm bushings because I think the most common size is 6mm, but I am not familiar with M14 mechboxes. I have read that aluminum piston heads are bad for your gun because they "hit" your gearbox hard and can damage it. It also makes your gun shoot louder because it's metal and not plastic. There is also no need to buy the "Systema New Poly... Piston" because I had one (if its the red one your talking about) and it was stripped very soon. I suggest one with titanium teeth.

See, that's why I asked for suggestions!

Does anyone have a suggestion for a dependable piston head? And are ball bearing bushings (G&G is 7mm) a good idea or not if RoF isn't a priority? Making my M-14 a (more) reliable, consistant DMR is.

Well, since I'm not getting any suggestions, I'll probably go with the Systema Polycarb Piston Head w/ Bearings, unless I hear otherwise.
I also think when I have the spare money for a new piston, I'll try the Deepfire Titanium Piston (Titanium teeth).

Okay, I've ordered the Systema polycarb piston head w/ bearings, m120 spring, hop-up bucking, and the G&G wood stock, from AEX. Would've got bushings too, but G&G claims their M14 can take a m120 with stock bushings.
I hope this works...

Damn.
Had to cancel the order. Will probably reorder soon. Depending on bills.

Okay, I've ordered the wood stock and hop-up bucking for now. I'll just wait until I have enough money and replace all the internals at the same time.
