Got it today. Two things. Smaller than expected, more solid than expected.
I've handled more or less every tokyo marui weapon (save for the famas....which I still want)...and this is easily the best built. It sounds the best...feels the best......I have no worries for it's durability...it feels like a consumer electronic device....like sony made it...everything is cut to exacting standards...fit and finish is simply amazing....etc.
I've shaken it, tried to bend it...can't get it to creak. Can't get anything to wiggle. It's small, compact, and solid as hell. Can't say enough about the build quality. It's damn near the hybrid we all want.....classic army style attention to body durability....and tokyo marui attention to internal quality control.
No wiggles from the stock. It clicks into place (in and out), the vertical grip snaps into place and has ZERO wiggle space....absolutely none.
Reviews I've read have talked about how quiet it is..but nobody has mentioned how SMOOTH it is. You really can't feel the gearbox doing it's job (small vibration..that's it)....insane japanese engineering.
I've got it on a simple chest sling right now, and it's really impressing me with how balaned it is. With the stock in, you can swing it on your back and move with a primary weapon drawn with no worries about your backup weapon flopping around, because it stays in the small of your back, ready to go.
The battery is an odd one though....I'm sure you all know, it's an AEP battery...and being an AEP battery, it has two metal contacts on the end of it, not two wires leading to a connector. This means your only option for charging it is to plug it into it's own charger (both come with the mp7). The only catch is...it's ni-cd and needs to be discharged, but marui has yet to offer a way to discharge a battery with these "new style" battery contacts. It's a small complaint because the battery will last for quite a while with this treatment, new batteries are fairly cheap, and marui will likely release a discharging option for the AEP batteries soon.
Well....there's more to review, but I just got this today....wanted to get this on here, answer any questions anyone has. I'm doing some range tests and chrono tomorrow (rate of fire is on par with any stock AEG...maybe a shade quicker), and I should have some photos as well.
I sold my Airsoft Elite Mp5 A5 to get this, and I'm extremely happy I did. That might sound odd, but until you handle one, you won't understand. More info soon. Questions welcome.

For discharging the battery, you could try what Martyn does. If you have an extra working motor lying around, that still has both wires connected (or just attach new wires), hook 'em up to the battery and let the motor spin off the charge. Now since it's an AEP battery, you'd probably have to use electrical tape and tape the wires to the battery, but it's the same general idea.

Alright, did some testing today:
Max Effective Range: 125ft (aiming at head, bb drops to chest)
BB Travel Time (125ft): 1.1 seconds /.1
BB Velocity: (1 inch, poor man's chrono) 250-260fps (hard dent, second shot goes through)
Rate of Fire: 10-12 Rounds Per Second (600-720 per minute)

Here's some photos, they illustrate:

Personally, I think it's great that the hop-up works so well. Somehow Marui built the Mp7 to have nearly the same range as a stock M4, but with less FPS (25fps less). The bb's definately take longer to get there, but the weapon is so quiet when fired, it shouldn't be an issue because your target shouldn't realize they've been fired on. Besides, it's a CQB weapon, in close quarters, you don't even notice the velocity difference.
