Hey everyone, what's up!! I just barely moved here from Utah and I'm looking to get into the community here. I've been playing serious airsoft for about one year now. I would like to join H.E.A.T., depends on if there schedule would fit with mine. That's pertaining to practices mostly and such. But for everyone to get to know me a little bit better:

I'm graduated from High School and I'm 18.
I currently own an M4 SPC upgraded to about 360 f.p.s.
I also have a Barretta for a sidearm.
My passion in airsoft is CQB, but I'm equally trained in all fields of airsoft; except for medic and support. I'm mostly trained in assult specialist and sniper/recon. That sort of stuff.

That's just a little bit about my airsoft career. If you would like to ask me any questions feel free to do so. Or you could vist the website:
www.utahcountyairsoft..../index.php
and ask them about me there. My home team there is the UCA Marines, and my TL was Turbo. Feel free to chat on there, they're all great people.

Anyways, looking forward to getting to know the airsoft community down here.

Welcome aboard!

We will get you out to a game sometime.

There is an open event on the 27th at CPX (a fun field to play at). This is not hosted by H.E.A.T. but if you want to come meet some of the guys and play along side us, that would be cool. Admission is $25 I believe. If you want more info, there is a post about it in the General Topic section of the forums.

Keep in touch. Hope you're liking Illinois.

Yeah, I was already invited to that game, but I've chosen not to play airsoft on Sundays. But I'll definately try to make it to other games as much as possible. And Illinois is fine, just a little too humid for my liking.

You've come on the worst year, humidity is almost never this bad around here. Its even pissing me off haha.

A lot of our games are on Sundays. I'd venture to say almost all of them.. May I ask; is it for religious reasons you choose not to or something similar to that? Hopefully we will find a time to get you out to a game.

Yeah, it's mostly for religious reasons. And plus that I don't have a car to get any where far away. So if I did choose to go (probably won't though) my parents wouldn't give me permission to take the car anyways. But what about practices, do you guys practice on a continual bases? Even if I can never come to games, I would still love to go to practices. I'm pretty sure that I could contribute some of my knowledge for your guyses benefits. And I wouldn't ask to be a part of your team in order for me to help you guys. That is assuming that you guys would like my help.

We are no longer having practices because the owner of the field we played at lost intrest in airsoft. Until we find a legal place to play, we have to play at hosted events which usually occur on saturdays and sundays. Our team really needs to get together and start getting permission for fields that we have looked at before so we can play more often.

Yeah, having your own fields to play at certainly does help a lot. But if your serious about kicking some a** on the field, then I really recommend having practices as well. The last team I was on didn't really have a whole lot of them, and we did all right. But that's only because the players were half decent, and we only had like 4 of us. And let me tell you, if we had had practices on a consistant basis, we would have done some major damage on the fields. Now I'm not trying to sound high and mighty here by suggesting all of this stuff, I just like to help in any way I can. So please don't get the wrong idea about me.

well c, in our area most of the woodland actualy all of it pretty much is either forest preserve or privatly owned by rich snobs who dont want us on their hundred acre plots so there really is no option. and plus in most towns around here its jus plain illegal to own ne thing that shoots a projectile, so r options r very few. I have already taken some time to find possible fields to play at so we can actualy airsoft and not have to drive an hour to get there.

Yeah, I see your point. Are the private fields any where close to where you guys live?

TMF has a private field in Rockford (Belvedere, actually) that HEAT is more than welcome to come and join us at when we hold games (sorry Deadeye, they're typically Sundays).

I'll let Toggle know of our next one and you guys can come on out...

Belvedere is on the way to games we used to play with NIAA in Rockford so the trip wouldnt be a problem for us at all (like a 40 minute drive). Hopefully we can get some games in before the leaves fall. Its already dark by 7:30 now! I think we have a CA M249 on the way so I bet it will be anxious to fire off some rounds.
