Operation: Enigma - Interval 02
When: September 9th & 10th, 2006
Where: Realms of Ruin

Admission: $50 for the whole weekend; $25 for single day

Players are allowed to camp out Friday and Saturday night. Night game on Saturday night. Bring your tracer kits and flashlights.

UPDATE:Airsoft Chicago will be providing a catered lunch and dinner for all attendees on Saturday.

That's right! You read correctly. Saturday night, Airsoft Chicago will have a catered dinner for all Enigma attendees. Bring your AEGs and your appetites. Dinner will be served before after the scenario game and before the night game.

"After the Red Tiger Clan was defeated by the US Forces, most of its members went into hiding. 'El Guapo' made a deal with the Red Tiger Clan. He would trade munitions for the Archelogical artifacts stolen by the Red Tiger Clan.

The arms dealer known as "El Guapo" also went into hiding after the defeat of the Red Tiger Clan. His whereabouts are still unknown at this time.

The Red Tiger Clan has begun a guerilla warfare campaign on the US forces stationed in the area. The US Forces plan to bring order to chaos."

The US Forces will expected to do the following:

Setup a Command Center, a checkpoint, a forward listening post, Artillery/SAM launch site, outpost and a relay station.
Pickup/ move/ distribute supplies
Organize patrols
Locate POWs
Repair damaged/ destroyed structures
Transport VIP*
Fire Artillery/ SAM*

US Forces will also be required:

extensive use of radios for communication
assign squads/ squadleaders
assign Medics and Engineers

The Red Tiger Clan will be expected to do the following:

destroy US outposts/ structures
kidnap soldiers
steal supplies
hijack vehicles
destroy artillery/ SAM
setup roadblocks
distrupt US activities

here is a map of the field. I am NOT going to post the map with the 'points of interest'. I dont want the Red Tiger Clan members to see where potential structures might be.

VFC has sent me an email stating that the replacement parts for the M82-A1 Barrett will be here shortly. If all goes accordingly the Barrett will be used as part of an objective and players will be allowed fire it.

Believe me, I really want to go. But I doubt the Army will let me skip duty to play airsoft.

Here is a preview pic of the SAM launcher. It contains 4 model rockets that will be launched during gameplay.

Well brillant me decides to drive 80+ on the way home down 62 and I get pulled over, so I now owe 115$ to pay off the ticket!!!!!

Funny thing is though, he was really cool about it and because I saw him try to turn around to come get me I stopped for him so he wouldnt get blindsided by some idiot. He ended up seeing my tomahawk in the back seat and asked if he could check it out. I felt happy to oblige!
