Hi all I'm David I've been playing airsoft for about two years, but I just recently got an AEG. I live in Buffalo Grove and besides some of my friend's backyards not much can be done with airsofting, so I'm trying to join a team.

Welcome to the Forums! We have airsoft nights about once a month. The next one is coming up soon so check out the Calender for updates.

oddwon can you do me a huge favor? HEAT team members host airsoft night. you have no idea when the next 1 is coming up. when we know we will let everyone else know. please leave the welcoming to us and let us be the ones to tell everybody things that are going on. this is the teams forums we like the team to run the things that are going on. not the members of the forum.

Birdy, I left him a PM about it right before you posted about letting us do the welcoming. But ill say it again. If you guys wanna post something like hey, hope to see u in a game soon, thats kewl. But let HEAT events and stuff be handled by HEAT

Hey david! I'm in Lake Zurich. Nice to see more new faces getting into the sport. Smile

Don't worry about the team, they're a bunch of grumpy people. Just remember to take their comments in stride and learn from what they tell ya. Wink

In all honesty, though, there's a bunch of great people on HEAT (though I am not one of them). I hope to see you at a game or Airsoft Night soon. Very Happy

Birdman, further issues like that should be handled in a PM to the member, no need to bring it up in a public forum.

David, what kind of AEG was it that you got? Throw some more information about it out there!

And Lane, when we gonna hit up the Surplus Store?

Well I'm 15, almost 16 and I just got a JG M4a1. It's pretty sweet (especially for the price) I got an m190 GBB. Basically its a berretta, but its slightly different, somehow. I really have no intention of getting any new guns anytime soon, but I do have a question. For my m4 thats 350ish FPS should I be using .20 or .23 bbs (or does it make a big difference?)
Also I found this site when I typed in Airsoft Team.

At 350 fps the .23s will probably do better.

bb weight only effects accuracy. but you should buy a high quality bb so that you dont have to worry bout bb's braking

I do get high grade bio degradable bbs but I noticed wind tends to veer them off course a bit, so next time I'll get .23s
