Me and toggle were talking last night about how the term "clip" is used too often in the wrong way. I blame video games for calling ammo containers clips when you would pick them up. The truth is, there is a difference between clip and magazine.

Magazine
Quote::
A magazine is any container which stores ammunition. Rifle magazines are small containers which store rounds, usually equipped with a simple mechanism - a spring and a metal plate - which keeps the rounds stacked evenly, and which pushes the rounds into the rifle's action as it is cycled.

Clip
Quote::
A clip is, pedantically, a small piece of metal which holds rounds in place within a magazine. The M1 Garand mentioned elsewhere is an ideal example of this. The rifle's magazine stores eight rounds, which are held in place with a clip.

Right on.

I really hate when people do that.

I blame Counterstrike. I'm so tired of hearing "Clips" instead of Magazines, "Deagles" instead of Desert Eagles, and "Nades" instead of Grenades.

Well I'm gonna assume most, if not all, of you know the difference between clips and mags, and snipers and sniper rifles.

Well for the ignorant out there:

Feel free to use these pics as you please, I didn't create them nor do I know who did.

Sorry for not noticing this thread. I did search, but since search engines hate me, I didn't come across this thread.

As for copyrights, I picked these images up on a different airsoft forum over a year ago, at least hundreds of people there have used them with no trouble.

There are two great truths in Major League Soccer:
1) Your team is either from Chicago or a suburb of Detroit.
2) Detroit sucks.
