News › Goodbye Game Attendance Page
Hoffman Estates Airsoft Team After lots of thought, I have decided to remove the Game Attendance page from our website. It can still be viewed through the various links among our website, but it will no longer be updated. This decision was made because it was too tedious going back-and-forth between the forums, calendar, and attendance page just to update some piece of data such as the date.

The Game Attendance page had a final total of 1100 lines of code and had a total of 70 game listings since January of 2006. Since the idea is still really good, I decided to integrate it into the Public Airsoft Events forum. Each topic in that forum will have its own little attendance box at the top of the first post of each page. There are links at the top and bottom of the topic window for a user to set his/her status. Now you don't have to visit two different pages just to figure out who is going and the information the event corresponds with.

The Public Airsoft Events forum once again allows any registered user to post topics about upcoming events. You no longer have to Submit a Game through our Game Attendance page so feel free to simply post the game information.
