Games CPX Open Event on August 27th
Posted by admin on Monday, September 04, 2006 (14:02:10) (1520 reads)

H.E.A.T. attended the most recent airsoft event at Challenge Park Extreme in Joliet on August 27th, 2006. With 7 members, this was our largest turnout for a game this year. Toggle was able to use his new Escort grenades on the opponents and the team got to use their tactics by breaking up into four squads.

Pictures of the team can be found in our 2006 Photo Gallery under CPX Events.

Games CPX Open Event on July 30th
Posted by admin on Monday, July 31, 2006 (14:03:21) (1204 reads)

Three original members of H.E.A.T. attended their first game at Challenge Park Extreme on Sunday, July 30th. The fields were very unique from any airsoft games the team has played in before. The games were short and there wasn't constant action like Airsoft Chicago games, but due to the 100 degree weather, long breaks were helpful.

Thanks to all the players who came out and attended. Everyone was really friendly and fun to talk with. Thanks to Matt for making it out to a game with us.

Pictures can be found in our Photo Gallery: 2006 --> HEAT

H.E.A.T practiced on Memorial Day at Birdman's field in Barrington. I took photos and even a video of the action. Be sure to visit our Photo Gallery and look at the photos of the game. They are located in the HEAT > 2006 album -or- click here.

Download and watch the video I took of the action in the Videos section of our Downloads page -or- click here

Games Airsoft Chicago Master Registration List
Posted by admin on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 (14:54:37) (1602 reads)

Airsoft Chicago has made attending events much easier. You can now register on their website and simply show proof of ID when you attend games.

Airsoft Chicago wrote:
The player would enter all their information online, instead of before the game. You wont have to write out the same info for EVERY event. Just once. Your name is then added to a master list. Upon arriving at the event, players who have "registered" online, would simply need to show proof of ID. Players would be required to fill out a RoR waiver and an AC waiver, but only for the first event they attend after "registering". These waivers will also be valid until August of 2006. Players under 18 would only be required to turn in one permission slip from their parents.

This information will be valid until the end of August of 2006
This will speed up the registration process leaving more time for players to play airsoft.

Games H.E.A.T. Helps US Army Train For Battle
Posted by admin on Tuesday, March 28, 2006 (03:20:51) (1400 reads)

That's right, members of your own H.E.A.T. have been practicing with the Arlington Heights Airsoft Team (A.H.A.T.), which is made up entirely of soldiers of the US Army Reserve.

During the course of e-mails and conversations, it was learned that the troops of A.H.A.T. had turned to airsoft for training purposes. While this is not what airsoft was intended for, it has been a valuable tool in teaching soldiers how to operate in a tactical environment.
